Trouble at Kandi and Todd's Steak House


Real Housewives of Atlanta's Kandi Burruss and husband Todd Tucker's new steak house 'Blaze' fails health inspection for a second time...

Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kandi Burruss’ Atlanta restaurant Blaze has been hit with a C health score weeks after having to shut down for failing an inspection.
According to official records obtained by Radar, Kandi and her husband Todd Tucker’s spot was inspected on May 28. An official came out to the restaurant after it failed a previous inspection on May 19.
The recent inspection received a 77 out of 100 rating.

Ewwww. They must have vermin, poorly stored meat, or other unsanitary conditions to get a score that low.

Todd looks like he's over it and tired of playing house. This strangely feels like it's a storyline for their new show because all of their other restaurants aren't experiencing these problems.

I live in that area. SW Atlanta. Nobody goes in there. And the banner is real egotistical. Kandi and Tood present..... that's not all the signage. It's Kandi and Tood present Blaze steakhouse. The picture shown isn't the whole thing. Gladys Knight chicken and waffles was there before they took over the spot. It's a nice spot. Great location for an owner that is serious about opening a restaurant. Some other television personality owns a restaurant 1 block from there. She has a horrible reputation and bad service, too. Why don't these people just knock it off?

I read somewhere that because of the pandemic (folks not eating out as often) has led to an increase of rodents in restaurants and the surrounding areas looking for food. Either way, like someone else said, this past year should have been enough time to clean it up and have it ready for when lockdown ended. It ain't like Kandi is strapped for cash. She could have shut down (the first time they were cited) and took care of everything.

I read (elsewhere) that mold on ice and rotting meat are reasons.

I read the rules are very strict for seafood and the inspectors are not playing
