I'm sure Deb was the only social worker, therapist, medical, psychiatric, administrative, director or board of director member affiluated with tour shelter. Hell, at the very least, you could have made an anonymous call to the protective services 800 number, OR one of the major television stations news 'Troubleshooters or Problem Solvers--they all have them. If push came to shove, the alphabet boys and secret service are always engaging in pissing contests with each other. You know the drill: you only had to relay that the 2 pimps that regularly have access to the premises snatched 2 white girls last week...

What? Deb was a social worker? I thought she went from the drug game to the hip hip game? - @7:31 Yep! All that needed to be said was 2 white girls were snatched from the group home. There would've been immediate help.

Off with her head! Those who turn a blind eye to human trafficking are just as guilty as the perpetrators. Send her bad built arse to GITMO to face Crimes Against Humanity charges like the rest of those in Hollywood and the music industry.

If Deb has a master's degree in social work (MSW) and is licensed, then she can be called a social worker, other than that she would have just been a caseworker. I'm tired of people using the term social worker so loosely. Signed a licensed social worker.

@ 10:10 True. At one point I was working on my MSW and there is definitely a difference!

As for this young lady, come on! There are so many ways to contact the proper authorities. This reminds me of that college football coach that was sexually abusing young boys and one of his staff members walked in and saw him in the shower literally raping a child and he just walked away and kept his mouth shut.

If you see something..say something. Simple as that!

The record labels invested in Kelly and for whom he made a LOT of money (RCA, Jive, Rockland) knew what was going on, too. They keep parading these Black women in front of the world saying they knew this and they knew that, well my money says there are some rich white men and women who turned a blind eye because Kelly was making money for them.

@1010, agreed! I'm an LMSW also. Big difference between a social worker and a case worker, or a parapro. I didn't understand it before, but now that I am in the field, it bugs me when people downplay what the role of a social worker is. And why couldn't the shelter worker report the trafficking?

Deb belongs to the streets. Always did, always will.

Y'all going back forth over a case worker vs a social worker. I don't give a gotdamn if she was the janitor. If you know adults and children and being trafficked, and you don't have the moral compass to report it, you're just as guilty as the traffickers. Your silence makes you complicit.

Yeah ppl on here getting caught up in they little titles. The subject matter at hand is being ignored. So self centered.

@10:10 who cares about your degree? As someone who grew up in the system and had to deal with social workers my entire childhood most of you are garbage people who don't give a damn about kids anyway. As if it's such an honor to be called a social worker when all you do is turn a blind eye to abuse.

1:22, it's unfortunate that you experienced workers who weren't as dedicated to your care as they should have been. I can definitely say that I've seen a lot of people in the field who shouldn't have been there. I personally do not turn a blind eye to abuse, but I'm not surprised it happens. But still, I encourage you to volunteer with kids. It is an amazing way to offer support to other children who could use extra guidance.

Social work is a broken industry. It's limited funds, pedophiles, criminals, and rapist who keep the system disorganized, underfunded, and chaotic. I know a lot of people who go into the industry with the best of intentions, but later become corrupt because there's no help available and the problems just grow and grow and grow...with no funds or assistance to really fix what's broken because the point is exploitation and criminality of the most vulnerable population; children. It's heartbreaking that the system is so corrupt, but it's even more heartbreaking when you have a caring heart but no real assistance smdh

This "young lady" and her "I wrote songs plug" get all types of side eyes, why didn't her ass contact the authorities? and how many years later is this? That system has been broken for years.
