According to reports in 2017 Mathew Knowles' company Music World signed a 7 year lease for office space with Decorative Center of Houston, but broke the lease after only four years. DCH claims their next tenant paid less than Knowles and they are suing him for $390k in loss rents and damages.
Mathew has filed a counter suit claiming he notified Decorative Center of Houston that he was leaving the space because of the 'disruptive environment' and also alleges that the building manager said he didn't want any 'n-words' in the building and harassed Music World's Black employees.
The case is ongoing.

Yawn. Why is this news?
Who TF signs a 7yr lease?! Sounds like Matty could've bought his own bldg but decided to give the YT man that don't even like him his money..
Landlords are hurting and looking for that money grab.

^^^^^^Actually most commercial leases are for at least 10 years. He got a good deal with seven. CTFU @ the kids roll call.
@10:54 You are so right on this rental issue - it is beyond criminal. Landlords should be brought to court and fined heavily for their behavior.
