Ashanti's Sister Confirms She was Beaten by Slowbucks

Last year R&B singer / songwriter Ashanti's little sister, Kenashia Douglas, revealed she had been being physically abused by her fiancĂ©, a Queens hoodlebrity called SlowBucks [click here if you missed that].

Shia speaks out about the abuse for the first time...

During Ashanti's recent interview with Angie Martinez Ashanti and her mother describe Shia's horrific abuse and how they dealt with it.

I need my sisters to take self defense classes, go to the range and learn how to shoot, obtain a gun permit and learn Hoodoo the sister spiritual system to Obeah. As a former survivor of domestic violence, sisters need a gun and roots on standby, my ex husband has a pacemaker, rod in the back of his neck, was paralyzed and blind for one year, when I went to the cemetery for that ass. Our ancestors were in a Mexican stand off, I couldn't kill his ass as I had to take responsibility being for being with a crazy negro with good d*ck. I let let good d*ck blind me to asswhuppings.

Man, those pics were tough to look at -

Shia has always struck me as a loud mouth, possibly violent, thot who was always fraternizing with thugs and degenerates. So, I can't say it surprises me that she was the victim of domestic violence. What does surprise me is that Shanti didn't have one of her thugs on standby to rough that nigga up.

Crazy.

Just like every other brotha in Atlanta claims to be a rapper, singer or a producer....every other brotha in NYC thinks he's a damn hood star.

Not judging how Shia handled things because I've also dealt with an abusive situation and understand how easily it can escalate and devolve, especially when you're in love. What saddens me is her face was beaten to a pulp and he didn't suffer any repercussions at all. No jail time, no broken kneecaps, no gouged out eyeballs. So basically he gets to do it to someone else, which I'm sure he will.

Shia mentioned not pressing charges to keep up appearances for Ashanti's sake but it sounds like she went through this alone despite their appearance of being a close-knit family. Hope that tight bond isn't only relegated to partying and happy times. But at least Shia seems more mature and hopefully Ashanti will as well. I notice in her interviews she still uses "females" instead of "women" a lot, which is indicative to me of a hood mentality she hasn't outgrown yet.

Nope I was born and raised in Newark NJ hard times indeed. After surviving that upbringing I can't deal with being beaten. I will kill you. Sorry to all dealing with this. Stay safe.

Soo... I didn't even watch, but I do have a question or two. Did she go back? How many times did he beat her up? How many times does it take to get beaten up before you leave, call the police and press charges? Just wondering, cuz I ain't getting beat to a pulp and going back to NOBODY. Not even once! Ain't that much love in the WORLD!!!!

Ashanti said she was ready to pick up the phone and make that call. She should have regardless how you feel about brutality.

Another woman with a bad picker for men. The name alone says stay away. Slow-bucks. To me that means: you dumb as hell, with no money.

^^Sounded like she kept talking that ass whoopen til her knocked out her teeth. Ashanti and the momma talking all that mess about what they was gonna do to him but aint did shat. And where was her father at? You can tell who wear the pants in that family. At least she finally wised up and left his abusive ass.
