Coronji Calhoun, who played Halle Berry and Sean Comb's son in Monster's Ball, has died from congestive heart failure...
News of Coronji's passing spread after his mother started a GoFundMe campaign to assist with his burial.
Coronji was 30 years old and his role in Monster's Ball was his only acting credit.
Halle Berry and Monster's Ball producer Lee Daniels have both contributed to the fundraiser.

Meant to say they both gave
Yea 'R' that's a strange number.
We all going to die. Not having insurance or money set aside for burial makes no sense.

If he was some white boy or white girl your ass would still be crying salty tears over them. One day soon we will be saying your weird, phony ass is gone. We all know something about you just ain't right.
Weird af. Maybe that’s some minimum gift irs thing or something 🤷🏾♀️
May this young Brother R.I.P. It didn't matter what size he was. He was someone's son a mother and father lost their child.
Maybe the amount Lee contributed rounded the total and Halle just matched whatever he contributed?
I've noticed lately that when people do GoFundMe for burials, they're asking for amounts that exceed what (I thought) the average funeral cost. Maybe its based on location... I'm in Memphis. There are funeral homes that advertise $1,500.00 funeral packages. Part of my theory is that there shouldn't be any shame in asking for help but on the flip side, you shouldn't expect for people to go above and beyond the basic cost of things...
