Travis Scott Files Motion to Dismiss Astroworld Lawsuit

Last month 10 people died and over five hundred were injured after a crowd surge on the opening night of Travis Scott's Astroworld 2021 tour [click here if you missed that].

Facing billions of dollars in damages from lawsuits, Travis files to have the cases dismissed...

According to reports Travis Scott has responded with a general denial of responsibility to the first case filed against him and asked that the case be dismissed with prejudice, meaning the case can't be refiled.

Travis' legal time is also working to have all 275 cases consolidated into one "multiple district litigation."

This move indicates Travis is planning to deny responsibility for every case filed against him.

Snitch, why are you traumatizing your loyal readers with that pic of Travis? Who made you mad? Don't punish all of us for the action(s) of one(a few)!😀

I think we should all watch this litigation very closely. A lot of music business heavy hitters like Live Nation and Apple/iTunes are named in the lawsuits too. Only they're not requesting removal - but it's interesting that Travis Scott aka Jacques Webster is. Especially since, Travis is still in litigation with another concertgoer from 2017, who was paralyzed from one of Travis's "rages" that caused hundreds of fans to stampede. So, I wonder why he thinks that he shouldn't be responsible? As far as I know, Live Nation nor Apple were involved in the previous AstroWorld event in 2017. At the very least, Live Nation should be penalized for not doing their due diligence on Travis and how he likes to incite violence and stampedes during his sets. I hope every family, victim, and loved ones are compensated completely. And I hope going forward, all concerts and festivals have enforced regulations, age limit requirements, and ban all forms of "raging", unless the artist takes the liability that comes with it. That way, if Travis manages to get through the lawsuits unscathed, if he does try this "raging" shit again, it'll be more cut and dry where the fault lies: with him!

And I also hope his trampy baby mama is indicted for filming the shit and later deleting when she realized her own culpability.
