Jussie Smollett Post Sentencing Outburst

Last night actor Jussie Smollett was sentenced to 150 days in the county jail, 30 months felony probation, and ordered to pay $100,000 in restitution to the City of Chicago and $25, 000.00 in fines for staging a hate crime hoax [click here if you missed that].

Jussie was immediately remanded into custody, but lashed out at the court before he was taken away...

After being sentenced Jussie addressed the court screaming, "I am not suicidal" repeatedly while proclaiming his innocence and said if something happens to him in jail he did not do it to himself.

@traci you sound like an apologist for illegal fuckery. juicy is right where the fuck he needs to be. how the fuck you let your 92 year old grandma on the stand to plead your innocence when you know you're lying thru your teeth.

alot of those Jan 6 folks are being given long sentences

OMG I saw this live, and I think Jussie was shocked because as the sentence was being read, he really thought he was going home.

That judge was so petty, that he read Jussie's probation first (freedom to travel anywhere, and just do probation check ins by phone), restitution/other fines second, and JAIL TIME LAST. Whew when the judge read the jail sentence, you saw the black side of him quickly drain from his face!

Then he made the outburst. One thing about courts is that judges DO NOT LIKE OUTBURSTS no matter what is being said. They command order in the court, and courts are typically quiet, so anything that is loud is really unnerving, and puts the judge on edge.

The audacity of his team to ask the judge 3x to vacate the sentence after his outburst! The judge said, "The wheels of justice turns slowly, but the hammer is falling down now." Jussie should have been happy he wasn't handcuffed immediately

What I don't understand is if Jussie is innocent as he proclaims, why would he then say, "If I did this it means I stuck my fist in the fears of Black Americans in this country for 400 years and the fears of the LGBTQ community."

Omg he's such a pathological liar

Free Juicy Smollett. Most yt ppl get a smack on the wrist for hustling millions of dollars and parole. And send them no acting African brothers back to the motherland.

Lol...Ima bet the welcoming committee is gonna see to it that, every bar of soap in that prison is placed on the bathroom floors.😂

I'm watching CourtTV and Jussie is being housed in a separate cell, alone, with a camera and a guard (with a body cam) outside his cell. He will be given time outside the cell to walk the common area and watch television, without any other inmate in the area.

The reason why those people who stormed the Capitol received lesser sentences than Jussie, is they took a guilty plea. While, this ignorant bastard performed in court and is still lying that some MAGA hat wearing fools draped a noose around his neck. There's proof he lied.

^^The check to the brothers, the noose still around his neck when the police arrived, his sandwich was in pristine condition and the brothers confessed.^^

Don't forget he even tightened the noose before the police arrived! He wrote a ransom note to himself with some unknown powder substance that the FBI is still investigating. This nigga crazy!!

^^^ don't forget it was NEGATIVE DOUBLE DIGITS COLD! He says he went out for some eggs at -12 degrees in the middle of the night.

I neeed Lifetime to make a movie about this. I can't believe this really happened. This is like that case with the teacher Joanne Chambers who framed her fellow teacher and sent threatening letters to herself, lied and said that the other teacher shitted in her school desk drawer, and almost ran into her on the highway, and brought 100 charges on her. The only thing that exonerated the other teacher was that she paid for a private investigator to do a DNA test on the stamp and envelope to prove that Chambers did this to herself!

You know Jussie raised his fist while being escorted out of the courtroom like he was a martyr for the cause. Did he delude himself into actually believing he was a symbol for civil rights?

When will all the white women who call the police alleging crimes committed against their person by the hands of someone black be arrested, convicted and required to pay restitution?

"If I did this it means I stuck my fist in the fears of Black Americans in this country for 400 years and the fears of the LGBTQ community."............What does this mean? Can someone translate? lol

That was so dramatic! The lies he told. He looked like a well dressed criminal, with so much pride ,as he pulled on his fancy suit jacket... He couldn't go quietly huh? "Action/Cut!" "Exit stage right Jucie!"

@106

I asked the same question lol. He basically admitted to it by saying that, just like when OJ wrote that book. He's soup/sandwich crazy!

Anonymous said...

Let Juicy go. Give him a fine and probation y'all. Don't treat the man so cruel.

Anonymous said...

He literally asked for this. He could have paid the fine and this would not have happened. He is the one that pursued a trial and tying this up in the courts wasting tax dollars. The judge actually stated that the punishment is not really for the hoax itself, but it's for calling and lying to the police, and aggressively pursuing this in court--that's why it's an aggravated felony. He could have been sentenced to 10 years for this, but it's 5 months. He deserves to serve every day of this sentence to think about the fuckery he caused.
