Six years ago Hip Hop pioneer Afika Bambaataa from the Zulu Nation was accused of sexually molesting multiple teenage boys during the height of his career [click here if you missed that].
Now he is facing a default judgment after being sued...
From All Hip Hop
On Monday, Apr. 11, a “John Doe” filed a motion for default judgment against the Bronx native in the Bronx Supreme Court on a case involving sexual abuse of a child.
John Doe claimed Bambaataa molested him for four years in the early 1990s, starting when he was a 12-year-old.
The complaint, which was obtained exclusively by AllHipHop.com, was filed by Hugo G. Ortega on behalf of the anonymous plaintiff, believing his client should be granted a default judgment against Bam, whose real name is Lance Johnson because he “failed to appear in this matter or to answer the plaintiff’s complaint” in the allotted time given by the court.

We are too lax as a country against pedophiles. I don't think there is a mental cure for it, we should be castrating most of these offenders. I cannot begin to fathom what the healing journey is like for children who have been abused so callously.
He needs to be in jail, nasty mofo. He lower than rat sh!t
He looks like he did it ol nasty old nigg@.
Too many men have been touched and been emotionally unstable because of it. He needs jail like yesterday.
He is Gross!
This dude is lame. Any man who would push himself off on a kid needs his a$$ smashed out of place.
There has been whispers about him molesting boys for years. If true i hope this paedophile goes to jail.
Disgusting!
Seems like this creep will escape justice. What shocked me about this story is how many people around Bambatta already knew he was a pedo but they just let it slide. I remember a few years ago KRS 1 said he didn't care that this man molested kids because he was the pioneer of hip hop and he's done so much for the culture. Pathetic!
/\ Did KRS-ONE Really say that? I need proof cause I think you twisted his words.
@ 6:10 PM. I concur, don't put words in another persons mouth, unless you have proof of a link of what he said!. #RECEIPTS
OR
@6:10 You could just Google KRS ONE Afrika Bambatta but since you're lazy here's the quote "For me if you keep it hip-hop, nothing can be taken away from Afrika Bambaataa,” KRS said in an interview. “Nothing. Just keep hip-hop. But if you want to dig into dude’s personal life and accusations that’s being made and so on. Personally — I don’t give a f*ck. Personally. Look, if somebody was harmed or whatever, y’all gotta deal with that sh*t. Deal with it. That don’t stop hip-hop. That don’t stop what you did for hip-hop. It don’t take away none of it. History is history. But deal with that. That’s personal.”
@ 7:10PM, Now how is that the same thing as :
... KRS 1 said he didn't care that this man molested kids because he was the pioneer of hip hop and he's done so much for the culture.
Not nowhere did he say he don't care that he molested kids. He said he didn't give a F*** about dude's personal life which has has nothing to do with hip hop, and that they should go after him for that seperate from the music, so try again!
@8:27 Stop being willfully ignorant. There's a video of him saying this and it's clear what he meant. How can you not care about someone's personal life when that includes being a child molester because it didn't stop what they did for hip hop? The video actually makes KRS sound worse than this quote. Of course 3:55pm paraphrased but we really need to do better when dealing with child predators and stop looking for reasons to absolve them.
The prisoners in jail will take of him, if he goes to jail.
