Dave Chapelle Attacker Charged with Battery

This week comedian Dave Chappelle was attacked on stage by a crazed fan armed with a knife hidden inside a plastic replica gun [click here if you missed that].

The attacker has been hit with misdemeanor battery charges...

From REUTERS
A 23-year-old man accused of attacking comedian Dave Chappelle during a performance was charged on Thursday with four misdemeanor criminal counts after the city's district attorney declined to bring more serious charges.
Isaiah Lee, who was subdued after tackling Chappelle, 48, to the stage floor on Tuesday evening, was charged by the Los Angeles City Attorney's Office with battery, possession of a weapon with intent to assault and two other misdemeanor counts.

Next step: Because its just a misdemeanor all the sleazy lawyers are gonna circle his wagon and help him sue everyone that Chappell said whooped his azz. And that includes Busta Rhymes and Jamie Foxx etc. He later tried to clarify that he was just joking BUT the lawyer will make Dave have to prove that in court. I think this slap on the wrist will provoke more dare devils to pull stunts like this for sure.

He was once a thought from around the way. YEasy. That’s who started all this storm in the stage ISH.

That's the LGBTQ allied/back LA DA office retaliating! Cause if it was Seinfeld his ass would've got the book thrown at him too.

LA is a shitshow. Maybe Dave should keep his celeb clad events in his Ohio hometown where the law might've supported him.

At 10:51 I doubt it. He had a replica gun with a knife on the end. If the police saw it he would have been shot and killed. Anybody will be seen as defending themselves from an armed lunatic (remember he's mentally ill). If a lunatic was initiating a fight while armed he needs to be non-lethally subdued immediately and that's exactly what happened.

12:46 I agree with you 100%. Black Comedians Should Avoid LA Venues. (LIKE THE PLAGUE)!!! They Should Not Generate Revenue For A City That Does Not Support Their Craft Enough To Provide Fair Prosecution For Those That Attack Them, With Deadly Intentions... (HE HAD A HIDDEN KNIFE)

I make more then $12,000 a month online. It’s enough to comfortably replace my old jobs income, especially considering I only work about 11 to 12 hours a week from home. I was amazed how easy it was after I tried it…
:)
AND GOOD LUCK.:)

If they charged him with a higher offense they would have to charge everyone else with something, and he might have grounds to sue them.
