Ex-NFL Player Accused of Murder

Former NFL tight end Kevin Ware has been indicted for the murder of his girlfriend...

Ware, 41, is accused of murdering Taylor Pomaski, 29, who was last seen at a house party on on April 26 last year in Texas.
The grand jury also charged Ware with tampering with her corpse. He will face 15 years to life in prison if he is convicted.
Pomaski's remains were found in December and formally identified three months ago.
'Although this investigation has been going on since Taylor's disappearance in 2021, the court process is just beginning, and we encourage anyone who has knowledge about what happened between Kevin and Taylor to come forward,' said Lacy Johnson, the prosecutor handling the case.
Investigators determined Pomaski's disappearance as suspicious at the time she went missing. Ware was out on bond on an unrelated charge at the time.
Ware has been in custody for the past 13 months in neighboring Montgomery County on drug and gun charges.
