Now Zoe admits she wish she handled things differently...
Zoe tells The Wall Street Journal

Zoe, isn't even apologizing, but, she knows she made a misstep speaking on black issues, when she has a history of trying to separate herself from black ppl and black issues. She's very controversial in the black community; that's why her dad tried to talk about his black mother at NBC, and the legacy she left- as a way of associating her with black ppl. But we see her and her pandering bs. Whatever happened with Will and Chris, didn't require her opinion. My biggest issue with her is, she doesn't know when to shut the hell up. If you want to be accepted by black audience's, going against Will Smith is a dumb ass move; and her comments are pretty much acknowledging that.

This girl grew up with privilege that many young ladies like her will never experience. She seems sheltered to the point she has no common sense. MANY people in their circle of friends didn’t comment on that situation and still haven’t today. At least not publicly.
What she could have done was simply posted her pics of that night showing off her different gowns. Noooo, she had to include Will and Chris situation into her stupid comments like it really affected her. You can disagree with Will’s choice to slap another man about his wife but keep it to yourself. You have connections that may agree with what he did and still support him, business wise. They just want to wait until the hoopla dies down. I know for myself, I was wondering how did that affect your changing of gowns?!?
