It’s fairly obvious Nick is functioning as a glorified sperm donor to these women. No relationship, no commitment, no strings attached. He might show up and hang out with the kid(s) from time to time at his convenience, but that’s it. They’re all adults and if that’s what these women want so be it. But they need to manage their expectations.
I think the commenter was sincerely offering a suggestion to help her out. She may be able to get a night nurse through a patient assistance program if Nick won’t help her out.
