Over the weekend Chris Brown fans were enraged after Chris revealed his planned Michael Jackson tribute had been cut from the American Music Awards telecast at the last minute with no reason given [click here if you missed that].

Ciara was also part of the tribute...

Po lil CC was waiting for the spotlight to shine her way again
This is another example of why did they expect anything more?
We all (black people) need to get on the same page and pull it together
These ratings are suffering because we stopped watching them
These stores won’t sell if we stop buying
We can keep them aligned if we gate keep all that is ours
They have nothing without the originators guiding them
Let’s get it together folks

^These ratings are suffering because we stopped watching them
That part.

I stopped watching years ago because it was a dry Yt
award show. I watched this year because they added more acts. What I took away from the AMA's was they added more black acts to get views this year, but blacks received less awards. They want catch me sleeping next year. It's back to the boycott.

These two complement one another in dance style very well.

F*ck them YT ppl...They ax'd the BEST part of the show & thats why we don't hear sh*t about that night EXCEPT Kelly Ro holding CB down. Hypocrite asses got them pedophiles & abusers in production & in the audience....

They should have an online pay per view tribute.

9:01 absolutely, that would have one heck of a show!!

They should go ahead and do the tribute on another platform. The awards show hasn't been hot since the 80's back when Lionel Richie, The Pointer Sisters, MJ, and Prince were showing up and showing out. Lol. Chris Brown didn't deserve that slight. Chris once they show you who they are, believe them the 1st time. Folks are too comfortable sh-tting on Black men now. It's like they are reverting back to a dark era.

Not surprised....black men are being targeted..

The 'gatekeeper' is working overtime to keep Chris from performing a MJ tribute. I remember shortly after MJ passed away, there was a block to keep Chris from performing then, too. I wonder if these 'gatekeepers' know that a MJ tribute on national television would put Chris back on middle America's radar. Cause I can't understand why Chris is continuously blocked from performing a MJ tribute. And the same goes for a Ciara/Chris B duo collaboration. Either Rihanna is beefing with Ciara, or a network big wig is beefing with Chris Brown. Like, d@mn, can we just get a great performance with no drama? Folks don't give a d@mn about the Rihanna incident from 20 years ago. Heck, Justin Bieber has called blacks nuccas, and still has a career; when these yt executives block us from performing, we need to boycott their award shows by not performing or watching it. Let's test how popular the Taylor swift's and other yt mediocre artists are, by removing black artists and performers from the lineup.

@11:35 AM, this!!!!!

A Ciara/CB dance performance would be epic. She’s the only female performer who can keep up with him.

Maybe whoever holds the rights to MJ's estate, image, likeness & material is the holdup. Somebody knows for sure.

I'm in the closet for liking that Gorilla and Cardi B song. 😂

I guess they will just have to be put back on the bill at the next BET awards show. I really do enjoy seeing them dance together. It’s dope.
