Nas' House Robbed in Calabasas

Rapper Nas has his home in Calabasas broken into while he was back home in New York...

From TMZ
Law enforcement sources tell TMZ ... two men broke into the rapper's Calabasas property Saturday around 8:30 PM PT, apparently having smashed through a rear door to gain entry. We're told Nas's team became aware of their presence due to a Ring camera.
When the two guys were leaving, we're told the crew saw them ... and they called the cops. By the time officers arrived, the two dudes were long gone. Nas wasn't home, BTW -- he was in NYC for an album release party. Nobody else was at the house either, it seems.
As for the damage done ... our sources say the guys tore the place apart and left with at least two bags worth of stuff. Unclear what exactly was taken, or how much it's worth.

Scumbags. They'll probably be on social media bragging about it or showing off what they stole.

What surprises me the most about these robberies is that none of these rich people have decent security alarms. Especially a car like Nas.

He should get a backup system.

^ as we seen most of them let Pookie do the job of a professional. Then it be Pookie you gotta look at first when anything goes down. To a wealthy man a Ring Camera is like a Pookie security system. Shout out to Ring and the whole app and fam but

Nas got all that money and using Ring in place of an actual security service smh

^^^ Ironically Nas had stakes in RING & caked off quite well when they sold over a year ago. On topic...These ppl in LA get cameras & alarms thinking thieves wouldn't dare come in them Hills. Alarms are a deterrent not 100% proof...You watching n66as in your crib & the cops take 20mn to get there....My new invention would be an automatic weapon built in the walls so you can shoot from your phone like a video game. LOL

You'd think these numbskulls would have private security protecting the joint while they're away. Mariah selling her ATL pad after it was jacked.

Between the Ring Camera and string attached to the door knob how did they get in and away.

Professionals thieves and Professional security all say the biggest criminal deterrent are dogs.

Nas should know better; he grew up in the projects and know how "have-not" nuccas act. I don't understand why he ain't have at least a half a dozen K9's, Rottweiler's, Pitbulls, or bull Mastiff's? While your crew is waiting on the cops, they could've been unleashing the dogs at different entrances / exits and making sure that they weren't going to be getting away without losing a limb first! Ain't no way I'm spending over a million dollars on a house with basic @$$ security. My crib gonna have layers of security, from electrically, to abled bodied former seals, to the top best security dog breeds on the market; the only way a nucca could steal from me is if they had the key!

Nas, it was an inside job, homie! Ain't no way my crew just gonna sit and watch a bunch of thieves snatch my sh*t and bounce!

Stop having parties at your crib. Rent out a hotel suite and let the ninja's party there. Folks you know like to bring ppl you don't know to your house when you have parties.
If someone breaks down a door that means you have no security system in place for a mansion.

Inside job ... by the way, Nas is still fine!
