New Details in Takeoff Murder Case

Last week popular Houston strip club promoter Patrick Xavier Clark was arrested for the murder of Migos rapper Takeoff, born Kirsnick Khari Ball [click here if you missed that].

Now new details from the case have been released...

From Click 2 Houston
According to documents, Quavo was arguing with Michael Prince, Cameron Joshua, and Christopher Watkins, over a dice game. Apparently, Joshua and the other man won the money. Willie Bland, who is associated with the Migos’ camp, said as Quavo turned to walk away from the argument, he noticed that Joshua said something and began to pull out a gun, so he reached and punched him.
Bland told investigators that after he punched Joshua, Watkins began to run toward him. He said he thought the two men were about to rob Quavo, so he shoved Watkins and that’s when he heard gunfire erupt, according to documents.
Bland thought Joshua was shooting at him, so he pulled out a gun and fired three shots into his direction, docs show. Surveillance video captured Bland firing into the bowling alley, where Joshua was seen running inside. Investigators said none of Bland’s bullets hit Takeoff during the shooting.
According to documents, surveillance video shows Clark firing multiple rounds in Takeoff’s direction. Surveillance video also showed that Joshua did not fire any shots during the shooting but that he ran back inside the bowling alley.
Docs show that Clark was captured on surveillance video running from the scene of the crime and leaving in a gray Ford F-150 with Texas license plate, KSY 0326. After the shooting, Clark reportedly made a phone call to a professional boxer, Shakur Stevenson, who was at the scene at the time of the shooting. Surveillance video also shows Clark entering the bowling alley with Stevenson and leaving with him afterward, according to documents.
Investigators said a wine bottle that Clark left at the scene was used to pull his fingerprints.
Clark was arrested by HPD officers on Dec. 1 during a traffic stop where he was driving a Ford F-150, the same truck identified in surveillance video, according to documents. During his arrest, he was found to be in possession of a .45 caliber handgun in his waistband, which is not the same firearm connected to the fatal shooting of Takeoff.

Not sure how they got all of this. The footage that was shown from the shooting was like 3 seconds of arguing then a gunshot. When did Quavo punch someone? And then the bodyguard tried to intervene? This isn't making sense.

Now every internet bootleg blogger who falsely accused, defamed, and slandered Willie Bland aka Migos Bands of shooting his own buddy Takeoff should be SUED. DJ Akademics claimed he solved the case and he wrongly implicated an INNOCENT man. How can you claim to solve a crime on the internet with an obscured video? Smh. Let this be a lesson for the clout chasers. Let the police do their job. Lives and reputations have been ruined and lives placed in danger because of bobble heads. I knew that man didn't hurt his friend.

If he was in Georgia helping to register and motivate voters instead of partying in Texas with thugs he'd probably be alive.

@ 11:08 The police most likely used mall video footage, not just the cell footage. Most malls have multiple cameras showing different angles. When building an airtight case against a suspect it takes time, especially when witnesses refuse to speak. So the police had the footage but they needed motive, and mall videos don't have audio for them to hear the build up to the shooting. So it took a while to figure it out even though they had visuals.

@11:33 why do you think this is FEDS work? Do you know how many people get killed in scenarios like this and it isn’t a federal case?

People need to be smart enough to realize that the short videos you see online are not the only evidence the investigators have. Everyone who fired a shot should be implicated as an accessory to murder because they contributed to his death.

More than likely they used cell tower information to know who all was there.
The video of the get away Truck
and the phone calls made immediately after the shooting, broke open this case.

It is sad that the gangsta mentality stops people from just walking away from drama and conflict. A soft answer could have resolved the disagreement early on. I don't buy into the idea this was a planned hit. I see a conflict with guns involved spiraling out of control. Rest assured I am not standing around watching people with guns argue.

The shooting was political. Unless the Prince's are being indicted, they got the wrong person. We need to dismantle these gangs who force other ppl to "check in" when they land in their city. The feds need to investigate that.

TBH Quavo should NOT have been there period! that is the only reason Take was there! these rappers need to stick to rapping and stop trying playing hood gangsta games!

At this level of fame and fortune, I will never understand why the Megos choose to hange out with a group of loosers. Quavo had the money, he should have handed the money over and left the spot. Did they not hear about the jeweler that was murdered weeks before hanging around this same group of loosers?

When you hang out with a crew of loosers who have nothing to loose, arguing only sparks problems. I just don't get it!

Identikal and Onan and PaperWorks remind me of HoodTalks. Shout out to all of em and ones I may have missed but they get the most accurate information out and that has not been easy to do. Just on the strength of how much love and respect they have.

He didn’t say Quavo punched him. He said as Quavo turned to walk away, he noticed dude was about to pull a gun out so he punched him. He as in the person telling what happened.

See that's the part right there that I don't get. You have millions. Expensivist jewelry. You travel out of your home state to kick it with ratchet ass Mob Ties. For what?!! I mean either Quavo don't have good vibe sense or this was a set up. All I know is, #JUSTICEFORTAKEOFF!! is necessary.

Basically Takeoff's family, there will be no justice. The guy they arrested will get off. HPD's playing in y'all face as the Prince family have its hand up their a**** playing puppet master. SMH. The Haves got no business playing in the sandbox with the Have Nots.
