Andrew Tate Detention Extended

Last month popular podcaster Andrew Tate and his brother Tristan were denied bond after being arrested in Romania on human trafficking charges [click here if you missed that].

The Tate Brothers detention has been extended for another 30 days...

From BBC
Influencer Andrew Tate and his brother Tristan will stay in custody until 27 February after a Romanian court extended their police detention.
The pair are being investigated over allegations of rape and exploitation and will remain in custody for another 30 days while police build their case.
The reasons for this extension will be given in a written statement later.
Tate and his brother both deny the allegations against them.
Authorities claim the brothers have been part of an organised crime group that exploited women by forcing them to create pornographic content.
No charges have been brought against the brothers yet. As they have not been charged, they have not yet had the chance to plead guilty or not guilty.

Just as people were nasty about Brittney Griner and her being detained, the same principles apply here. When you are in a foreign country that 72 hour probable cause hearing rules that we have in this country only applies in this country. The one thing that did happen was that the US Embassy was informed. If they even think he was involved in trafficking, you better believe that the Embassy is not going to be in a hurry. They will make sure that someone is in contact with him. That's all he'll get. They may continue his case for as long as they want. I watch too much Locked Up Abroad. They're held in jail/prison, get called to court and are sentenced on the spot for umpteen years. Nothing to play with.

When stuntin’ like a white man while black goes wrong. I want to laugh at the shenanigans but it is quite sad and tragic because Hef never had it so hard. Next time Mr. Tate, make sure the CIA get their cut.

The fact that Candace Owens is supporting him makes her less and less credible.

Candace Owen never had any credibility to lose.

Candace needs to stay in her lane and let this fool fry.

I wish that they would publicly list the names of everybody that ever paid him to watch his illicit content.

At @3:01 the US Embassy doesn’t care, he is a citizen of the UK. And it doesn’t look like the UK cares either. His own stupidity got him there, he hates women so much that he popped off to that teenager unprovoked and gave away his location after hiding and being on the run. Romania sees assets they can and now have repossessed and he’s not getting those back. This is when pimping goes wrong in a country he THOUGHT hated women as much as he did and again wrongly thought he could get away with it. NONE of this will change him or his brother, as they are too old, stubborn and stupid to change. As you can see he still is blaming others like the “matrix” for HIS own stupid actions. His daddy is a chess champion. My question is what type of trash parents do they have to be, to end up with BOTH their sons to be sexual predators with inexplicably flawed DNA.🤷🏽‍♀️🤡

Anybody that knows anything about criminal justice should also know that all arrests are not created equal. Some people are locked up for committing heinous acts while others commit heinous acts and walk. Some are locked up because they don't have the money to get out and some are out because they could afford to get out. Some survive police encounters with a warning and some don't survive them at all.
Assuming that someone shouldn't be locked up because they haven't been charged with anything is a misinterpretation or misunderstanding of how the law works. All of the details of a case are not revealed to the public until authorities are ready to reveal them. News articles and headlines don't tell the whole story. How the law work wherever you are may not be applied elsewhere. An investigation is underway. Be patient.

A lot of European countries, you can be a suspect of a crime but not officially charged yet. They can hold you for a period of 3 x 30 days for the investigation, and in some cases even longer. After the 90-day period, you're charged or you go home.

I hope the system makes an example of him, since he can't come up with better ways to make money.
