Amar'e Stoudmire Battery Charges Dismissed

Back in December retired NBA player Amar'e Stoudemire was arrested for slapping and punching his teen daughter just hours after graduating from the University of Miami Masters program [click here if you missed that].

The charges have been dropped...

The Miami-Dade State Attorney's Office on Tuesday confirmed to CBS Miami that misdemeanor battery charges have been dropped against Amar'e Stoudemire, the former NBA star who had been accused of punching and slapping one of his teen daughters last month.
In an emailed statement, the state attorney's office said "the case was dropped due to the failure of the victim to cooperate in the prosecution of the criminal case."

^^^More like, that's his minor child and she doesn't want to see her daddy go to jail over something she started. Teenagers will try you. It's a parent's job to put them back in line.
