Jay Z Sells Majority Stake In D'ussé

Last year Jay Z filed a lawsuit against Barcardi claiming they were devaluing his D'ussé liquor brand when it was time to sell [click here if you missed that].

The matter has been settled and Jay is is nearly a billion dollars richer...

After months of legal back and forth and general contention, Jay-Z and Bacardi have come to a resolution regarding the rapper’s D’ussé Cognac brand—the drinks company will buy a majority stake reportedly worth about $750 million.
Under the terms of this new agreement, Jay-Z will continue to be a part of the brand, and be close to another billion dollars richer than he already is.

Don’t want to get anything about him being swindled the majority of these black celebrities do these types of deal when they just the face but run around saying they own something then when they not getting as much money from the deal they signed they will cry foul. Kanye did it and so do others.

Sounds like a good deal to me. Now Jay has fresh bragging material on his next album and/or collabo - cause, his (bragging) accomplishments is a gift to the black community 🙄

Ya’ll can’t feel the evil coming off this man? Pictures talk a lot and even in photos you can feel (and if you’re really tapped in you can see) the darkness coming off this creature. He got the same dimly lit aura Diddy got. Big Damien Thorn energy.

The red filter lights in the photo give it a demonic feel. Ewww

Knew this would happen he has a real good sqaud of legal goons that could have made life hell for Bacardi and taken years to unravel, if the truth on how they play celebrities they bring on board to give the product audience appeal ever came to light they would have lost a lot more in a court awarded payout and their name would be tarnished and they wouldn't be able to run the same hustle on some other person down the road. Mr. Carter would not have picked a fight he could win and they wouldn't have caved if they were on the up and up some f@ckery they were afraid would come to light was at the core of this whole thing. Mr. Carter surely had to sign something that assures he would not speak about the case and he surely leveraged what he had on them to get a chunk of equity moving forward in addition to the payout. Well played Mr. Carter we all know just like LMHV still bought in to Ace even though they have Dom on the menu already because they appeal to a different segment you will be able to go back to that well again to get them to possibly see the same play for Dusse' and Hennesy.

I remember when he was mad when people were going in on him about Tidal. Then tried to pull the race card…people were going in on him cause he’s black. People just don’t like you cause you are a horrible person. He’s not cute
