Last week Sheryl Lee Ralph appeared on Way Up with Angela Yee and recalled the time she was forcibly tongue kissed without her consent by a famous TV judge.
Sheryl never mentioned a name but now Judge Joe Brown is threatening to sue for defamation of character...

It wasn't the 70's, it was the late 90's according to how she presented it , and this is exactly why I don't like that beat around the bush talk because it sends unfair strays at potentially innocent people. Playing semantics about assault isn't fair to all of us women who were sexually assaulted. When you do a play on words you make taking victims seriously very hard because Joe is now saying straightup it wasn't him, but she beat around the bush and got the gossip mill turning. She's too old for that. If a man or woman violates you, say who did it, don't lead people on a wild goose hunt. She knew by eliminating Mathis who is a Black male judge, we'd start the process of elimination. I am very pro victim because I was a victim, but I am not into games and shooting strays. If it's Joe, say Joe, if not, clear his name. He's running for mayor too. I'm not going to lie, I immediately felt bad for her and thought it was Joe, but now looking at how she presented it at 60 plus years old, I'm wondering why the play on words? Tell us who it is since you drug us in it and had us feeling bad.
This headline is misleading. He didnt threaten to sue Sheryl he threatened to sue blogs who attached his photo to her story....
This is 11:02 again. Just heard the Judge Joe response and he said it wasn't him, he's never met her acquaintance, and he wasn't in New Orleans at that industry event. He said he suspects it's a guy who still does tv commentary and who had several network complaints but he can't say for sure because there were also several famous white judges back then. He said he can't sue her yet because she didn't say his name but his legal team is looking into suing those who put his picture up or said it was him. See this is why I don't like word play. Either say who it was or leave it alone.

@ 12: 22, OMG, he's flown completely under everyone's radar but you may be right because he got in so much trouble for other things that he was allegedly stripped of his right to practice law in Cali. I don't know how his appeal turned out? Very sordid history! Judge Joe also said it may have been the man they tried to replace him with which I think was Kevin who is younger. Who knows? I forgot about Kevin but the California court board allegedly ore him up for humiliating defendants in court. The plot thickens.
@11:02/12:03. I am so with you on this and I don’t like the way she handled this. She protected the judge who assaulted her and the network who asked her to remain silent, but she wouldn’t protect herself.
I don't think the timeline matches up. Judge Kevin is too young for their acquaintance. Whoever it was, I hope he got his life before he gets exposed.
Kevin will be 60 in June.
Im not accusing Kev, but let me point out he is about 60 years old, and is only 6 or 7 years younger than her. Keep in mind, 20 years ago, she was only in her 40s and fine as wine. So, they are practically peers. Judge Joe is about 75 and was 55 20 years ago. I seriously doubt a 55 year old real judge would've done that in a room full of executives. Kev only "played" a judge but was really a prosecutor who was allegedly stripped of his right to practice. I don't know if his appeal was granted back then? Not accusing Kev just pointing out he was only a play judge and not as refined as Joe. I don't know who did it but Kev is no spring chicken and he was around back then. I hear a big executive's wife was pushing to make Kev big which may be why they silenced Sheryl??? Once again, she should tell instead of sending strays. Lol
