This week top stylist Law Roach stunned the fashion industry after abruptly announcing his retirement [click here if you missed that].

While Law may be done with the industry, he's not done with his most high profile client...

In a series of Tweets Law made it clear that he and Zendaya are still working together.

and then Law walked for Hugo Boss.

I hate how people undermine his contribution to his craft. He really has no peer doing it like he's been doing it for a while now. That snub was really disrespectful given what he brings to the indusrty, whether people understand his reaction or not. I hope he rethinks his retirement, but at the same time when you're tired, you're tired.

Roach is a stylist, not a celebrity. Zendaya was invited to view the LV show front row; Roach was Zendaya's guest, not the other way around. Roach is talented, but let's not act like he's performing miracles on Zendaya. Zendaya is tall, thin, and beautiful; any designer or stylist worth their weight could do what Roach is doing...

@9:26 Fashion shows are not just about celebrities and Law would never be a plus one. You're doing just what I said and trying to downplay his relevance and importance to the industry. The front rows are filled with celebrities and their stylists and journalists and the stylist is just as important as the muse. If anybody could do what he does, then everybody would. The fashion industry knows his worth and so does he. Zendaya is known for her looks far more than her acting, and that is Law 100%.

Sorry there are many a many of stylist without style....see Beyonce's horrible stylist! You can call yourself whatever you like that doesn't mean it truly applies. Styling and having an eye for putting garments together is truly an art form, and Mr. Roach can truly claim that!

Front row was all ways for the paying clients and the buyers in the department store to make purchases. All these other ppl want status now. Borrowing clothes from the showroom is not coins in the designer's pockets but it's coins for the stylist. It's only advertising the name.
