Tory Lanez Parts Ways with Death Row Attorney

Last year Canadian rapper Tory Lanez raised eyebrows after adding former Death Row attorney David Kenner to his legal team for the appeal of his conviction for shooting Houston rapper Megan Thee Stallion [click here if you missed that]. 

Kenner is no longer repping Lanez...

Today, after news broke that Tory had officially filed to appeal his conviction [click here if you missed that], his remaining attorney Jose Baez, who famously represented Casey Anthony, announced that he is now lead council.

The message was accompanied by a voice-over of Dr. Martin Luther King's 1963 speech where he says,"Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere...."
