Most people don't even know Kimora Lee Simmons as a model. She wasn't even top tier and her fame comes from marrying Russell Simmons and creating Baby Phat. Why would Vogue put her on the cover?

The Blasphemy
Naw, everyone knows Kimora was Karl's muse - just like everyone knew Karl hated Heidi Klum 😆. Karl was pretty vocal about who he liked (models etc), and Kimora never shied away from speaking on Karl, as his model and muse, during his time with Chanel. Karl wasn't even alive long enough to vocally cosign Kendall or the Hadid girl. It's obvious that vogue is just featuring the most popular at the moment girls (Kendall/Hadid) , mixed with a few old school top tiered models (Naomi). Kimora was the shyt, but this is vogue and they can't be featuring too many WOC - only Naomi made the cut.
Speaking of cuts, Naomi needs to stick with shoulder length bob cut hairstyles with bangs-short hair with bangs would really set off her features. As women, when we age, long hair is not our friend. Something short, chic, and sophisticated would do elevate Naomi so much more than her standard middle part long length.
Naomi is practically bald now. All those weaves took a toll. She needs all the hair she can get.

From watching their show back in the day, I always knew little Aoki would grow up to be a force to reckon with.
