Lance Reddick Attorney Disputes Cause of Death

This week it was reported that actor Lance Reddick died from heart disease at age 61 [click here if you missed that].

Reps for Lance dispute the reports...

From People
Hours after the initial report, Reddick's attorney James Hornstein issued a statement to PEOPLE.
"I have represented Lance Reddick for many years and continue to represent his wife Stephanie. The coroner statement on the death certificate is not a result of an autopsy. No autopsy was performed on Lance. To my knowledge, no medical examination of Lance during his lifetime ever indicated such conditions," read the statement.
"Lance was the most physically fit person I've ever known," Hornstein continued. "He exercised daily at his home gym, including extensive cardio work, and the availability of gym facilities was a contractual requirement for his work away from home. He ate as if a dietician was monitoring his every meal. The information appearing on the death certificate is wholly inconsistent with his lifestyle."
The statement concluded, "On behalf of Stephanie Reddick, the death certificate information is not corroborated and is inconsistent with the facts known to the family."
TMZ's report additionally reported that that Reddick, who was 60, will be cremated — though Hornstein did not comment on that matter."

His wife looks exactly how his lifestyle was. I can’t see her not following him in his eating habits looking the way she did. Sorry, don’t believe it.

Healthy people die of heart disease every day. Unless he was a drug user or they're claiming he was murdered, heart disease is possible. Just like healthy people get cancer too. Nothing is promised. Just like some people smoke a pack a day and drink like fish, but still make it to 100.

@ 11:12 Exactly! I don't smoke and still got cancer. Thank God my surgery was successful and it's gone.

11:37, I'm glad you are good now. I knew a guy who was a triathlete and vegetarian. Healthy all around and still got cancer. It's really all a crapshoot, that's why we treat people good and live without regret. Because even at our best, nothing is ever promised.
