In an interview with TMZ Marques says he doesn't care about the opinions of others and doesn't have to explain anything to anyone, but claims online reports of his wife's age are inaccurate.
Marques insisted he is happily married and that his wife keeps him young and fresh.

Pedophilia is the issue. She was 12 when he met her. He groomed her till she was 17 and then started a sexual relationship with her and he's a GROWN ADULT MAN 40+ YEARS OLD. This girl has had her childhood and now adult hood stolen by a pedophile. And you gotta ask, what's the problem? Black people do not care about childhood sexual abuse, sexual assault, or women who experience violence.
Everyone knows this marriage is BS and the ages don't add up. There were all of those S.A. accusations from those guys in that boy group and then he pops up with this young girl. So many people have shown the truth about this girl's real age when they both began to date and how she was reported missing by her family. I often wonder if this weird marriage was used to cover up for those S.A. accusations or to make them go away. There are countless videos where content creators have done the research and they have receipts with facts. He is full of it.
I just realized two comments (10:53 AM and 11:18) rushed in back to back praising Marques. Coincidence? I don't think so.
THANK YOU 11:18! I worry for some of these folks' daughters and sisters if this predatory behavior is being overlooked and excused. 'Legal' and 'grown' are 2 different things and these grown-azz men know DAMN good and well who they're targeting and why!

When anyone gets married too young, they are robbed of their life experience of who they are. He claims in his interview on TV One show that all she wants is to be a mother. That means she will be dedicated to him and his will.
