Megan Thee Stallion Accuses 1501 Records of Draining Its Bank Accounts

Houston rapper Megan Thee Stallion has been trying to get out of her recording contact with 1501 Records for the past few years [click here if you missed that].

Now Megan is accusing 1501 CEO Carl Crawford of burning through the label's cash so there won't be anything left to pay her...

From TMZ
Megan filed a new motion Thursday, raising all sorts of red flags about 1501's bank accounts. In the docs, obtained by TMZ Hip Hop, she claims label head Crawford is lining his pockets with money earned off her hits ... while she's getting squat.
Her immediate concern is the company's money is running low. Megan claims 1501's primary account has less than $10,000 left in it, but much more than that was deposited. The exact amount is redacted in the documents, but Meg says it's in the millions.
So, where's the money going? Megan claims Crawford, J. Prince and Gee Roberson -- who are both involved in running the label -- are the only ones getting paid.
As we've reported, Megan is suing her label for royalties and to be released from her contract. She's filing this motion because her fear is that when there's finally a judgment in her favor, 1501's cupboards will be bare.
She's asking the judge to appoint a third party to take over managing 1501's finances.

Yup, believable and predictable. 💯 Girl get you a forensic accountant and they will find the money. Wanna be gangsters that have to steal from others to support their fraudulent lifestyles. And Meghan you not except from blame, you should have researched the label better instead of signing with a ex baseball player who knows nothing about music. You, just like Halle signing with Beyonce should have know better. All money…ain’t good money.

I knew something was up after the last post about him. It's a story as old as the industry. Artists signing bad contracts and getting screwed out their money. What else is new?
