Beyoncé has die hard fans and that’s good for her. Her tours are the same though. If Janet can still bring crowds so can she. I don’t do concerts so it’s not my thing. I’m over the sexual stuff. I prefer artists who can actually sing and move me with their voice at my age though. She seems great for the gay community and those who need the theatrics.

I haven't seen Beyonce perform live (in person) since I was little girl and she was in DC. I have tickets to one of her upcoming shows and I'm excited. Beyonce is a strong performer, but she doesn't have the strongest musical catalog. Her strength is in her ability to put on a great show with mediocre music; that's why she's constantly touring because her music alone isn't strong enough to sell millions of records on its own. That's why she has work harder as a performer to entice folks to buy or stream her music. I personally hated the Renaissance album, but I know she's going to put on a great show performing songs from that album.
As for the comparisons, I think ppl just get tired of the hype- especially when there are other better artists (who's music can stand alone without the glitz and glamour) who don't receive half the attention and accolades that Beyonce does. But that has more to do with the white washed media than it does actual talent. In a lot of ways, I feel like the music entertainment industry, as a whole, is a lot like MTV in its infancy - claiming to be all about the music, but act as gatekeepers against r&b or any genre predominantly dominated by black artists - and they will only accept and/or elevate black artists who put out pop sounding music or performances- and the only popular black artists performing that type of music are Beyonce, Rihanna, and Ciara- which is why those artists (regardless of how lackluster they are) get the hype and attention from the media.
Why are y’all fans ready to fight about Beyoncé? You really look silly, immature and mentally r*tarded sometimes. People are entitled to have an opinion, but why does it hurt you so bad when people disagree with you about her talent? Agree to disagree and move on with your life, the one Beyoncé doesn’t even know exists, geesh!

Yes, she does put on a show. No, I cant hear half of her rap lyrics, but I saw some older ppl in the audience so she has the gays and others supporting her. You don't have to know math when you have the sold out crowds. Those are the numbers. Ppl with tickets enjoy the show. It looks amazing.

She is following the Madonna/Janet flow - Release an album, support it with a tour. They each did it and M & J still do it today… it just gets harder for them and their level starts to sink with aging when they just can’t perform the same way or to the same level in their prime (see their current weak tours now that aren’t sold out anymore). Some fans will still be going for the nostalgia tours but B’s not there yet. I’m not a B fan but this will change and apply to her too so I don’t blame her for doing what she’s doing now… while she can and it sells.

Beyonce looks beautiful, she always has. But with her foot keeping her from dancing you see how much of her over dancing and wind machine was part of her show and image. This version of her although beautiful, exposed that she really is like Janet, although her vocals are better than Janet’s for sure, but the music is mediocre and gimmicky. She’s definitely not Whitney, Celine, Adele, or Mariah vocally other than a couple of runs, but that’s it. But she’s is beautiful though, and like Aretha said “ the gowns….the beautiful gowns”🤷🏽♀️ I hope her foot heals properly. I wish she would have given herself more time to let her body heal and rest, but this is a glimpse of her show as she like Janet Jackson and Bobby Brown starts to gets too old to hit them two steps on down the road.
