Last month Atlanta attorney Michael Sterling vowed to fight for his marriage to actress Eva Marcille after she filed for divorce [click here if you missed that].
Now Michael has filed to legally dismiss Eva's petition...

According to court documents obtained by RadarOnline.com, Michael has denied Eva is entitled to a divorce on the grounds the “marriage is irretrievably broken and there are no prospects for a reconciliation.”
In addition, he asked that the court deny her request for primary custody of their kids. Michael didn’t ask for a specific custody agreement, he just wants the entire case dismissed and to remain married.
He did note that while he “desires to work towards an amicable resolution to this matter if the parties are unable to resolve this matter,” he believes Eva should pay his legal fees.
The couple shares three minor children; Michael Sterling Jr, Maverick Sterling, and Marley Sterling. Eva had Marley with her ex-Kevin McCall, but Michael treated her as his own.

Because she initiated the divorce. Michael wants to work on the marriage (Eva doesn't), and he feels like, if the marriage is truly broken then she should have to foot the bill for not trying lol. It's kind of comical to me...but, Eva, needs to understand that this is real life, not a reality show. To some folks, marriage is 4ever- not the foreseeable future lol. If she is requesting primary custody of her children, isn’t it entirely possible that this man is abusive on the low? The denial of her right to divorce reeks of pathological narcissism. It’s naive to assume that just because he’s an attorney and “looks good on paper” that he’s actually a good mate.
Once Eva finally got a major come up, she wanted out. He should be the one filing divorce because the porn she does for tv is too MERCH!. Lol Some roles aren't for married moms. @ 4:51, I think she's loving the new found attention from Queen of Kings but it's not good attention. Dudes lusting her is not the same as someone loving her. So, if men are suddenly hitting her up she needs to vet them carefully because they may be fantasizing about her and not interested in a genuine long term relationship.
