Last month social media influencer Jacky Oh was found unresponsive in a Miami hotel room after an elective plastic surgery procedure performed by Dr Zachary Okhah [click here if you missed that].
She died in recovery, not on the operating table. Her aftercare should be in question, not necessarily the surgeon's skill set. A recovery nurse after major surgery is crucial. What you do or don't knw directly after surgery can kill you.
10:17am THANK YOU!! I have tried exposing this many times. And MOST of these ppl are not paying for AFTERCARE! I know someone in Miami right now had surgery there she in a hotel with her momma and her sister and none of them know anything about healthcare!! That’s how Kanye west mom died the doctor told her to stay for the after care she told him she had a family member who was anRN and that she had a hospital bed and iv pole and all sorts of stuff set up in her home turns out she had none of that stuff. She was at home with her friend who didn’t know that he repeated requests for pain medication was an indicator that something was wrong!! Once you take a pain medication you are to be assessed 30 mins later to see what your pain level is of it still 0/10 some investigation needs to happen to determine what’s going on. This lady died in a hotel room by herself!! This tells me she didn’t have no after care! It is also said he did the surgery for a discount so this tells me that she didn’t have the money to pay for a full surgery and full recovery care. She was trying to get a deal. That’s crazy to me.
@11:07 AM I had a tummy tuck and did not anticipate that I needed a nurse for the first 2 days. I had never had surgery and had no idea how badly banged up I would be, my surgeon was shocked and checked on me daily. In NYC its a few hundred dollars a day, add that to your surgery expenses. It is a must! I had a nurse for a few hours after I got home and my brother stayed overnight to make sure I made it through the night.
I learned the hard way, get an aftercare nurse!!! The first few days are crucial!! If anything is going to go wrong after surgery, it usually happens within the first 48 hours. The body is recalibrating from being under anesthesia. Your breathing has to come back to normal, your heart has to come back to normal and your GI tract (which is why you must poop after surgery!). If your heart, lungs or digestive tract fail to come back to normal, death or severe complications will pay you a quick visit. After surgery, never lay flat on your back, always on an incline with your legs slightly elevated.
What is he really saying. Uhhh. You can trust me. This doesn’t happen all the time. Just some of the time. So don’t worry. It won’t happen to you. But it might. But it doesn’t happen all the time, so you shouldn’t really worry about it. Everything is OK. I have a 20% discount for the next month or so. But everything is OK because this does not happen all the time I can guarantee you this doesn’t happen all the time. Just some of the time but I can guarantee that. it only happens some of the time. You’ll be all right. Hold on my receptionist. Will take your appointment date. Thanks. It’s gonna be great. Have a great day. Hold off for the receptionist……..
