Hip Hop icon Yasiin Bey, formerly known as Mos Def, is being sued for back child support by one of his four baby mamas...

The musician, who has used the name Yasiin Bey since 2011, has six kids from four different women, and is set to open for Erykah Badu on her upcoming tour.
One of the moms, Paris-based Karima Sorel, wants the $88,602.63 she says Bey owes and is going straight to tour backers Live Nation, Ticketmaster, Outback Presents LLC and BaduWorld Inc to get it.
A law firm representing Sorel wants a Manhattan judge to enforce the judgment against Bey and require the companies to turn over his earnings to pay off the debt, according to the legal filing.
Badu’s “Unfollow Me” tour kicks off June 11 in San Antonio and hits Madison Square Garden July 8. Bey is the “On & On” singer’s opening act for all 25 tour dates.
“This matter arises out of protracted child support proceedings in Family Court between Karima Sorel . . . and the child’s father,” according to the Manhattan Supreme Court papers, which notes Bey’s current address is unknown to Sorel.
Bey was required to pay Sorel’s attorney fees in March 2020 after the Brooklyn Family Court knocked his “persistent refusal to pay child support,” records show.
