There was definitely a donation involved. 50cent posted the top 10 selling rap albums, and most of the top spots were him, Em, Nelly, Kanye, & Nas; yet, Jay seems to have the best PR in the game despite the numbers (& culture) reflecting differently. He uses Beyonce's mainstream appeal to appear more relevant than he actually is.
It’s the BKLYN public library. What other rapper from Brooklyn should they have used? Jay Z is the perfect choice. He’s still alive, from Brooklyn, and had some hits. Congrats to him.
