Tory Lanez Bashes Legal Reporter

Last night rapper Tory Lanez asked his supporters not to listen to legal journalist Meghann Cuniff for updates on his case after his conviction for shooting Houston rapper Megan Thee Stallion [click here if you missed that].

Of course that sent me straight to Meghann's page to see why Tory was so upset...

Tory Lanez is due in court today. He's got a new lawyer who wants to join his case. I talked to her last night.

Well, that was even weirder than I expected.

Ronda Dixon is NOT going to be Tory Lanez's new lawyer. Jose Baez remains his lead counsel, and Ed Welbourn, an experienced Orange County criminal defense attorney, is going to sub in for Matthew Barhoma. Sentencing is still Aug. 7.
