Young Thug Denied Bond

Last year in May Atlanta rapper Young Thug was arrested, along with 27 others, in a sweeping RICO indictment [click here if you missed that].

Today Young Thug was denied bond, again...

From 11Alive
Atlanta rapper Young Thug is staying in jail after his bond was denied once again on Friday.
Attorneys for the rapper, whose legal name is Jeffery Williams, argued that he is maintaining employment, citing his newly released album. Previous concerns about Williams's health were also brought up, his defense stating that he is "languishing" in jail, sleep deprived due to court appearances and eating many foods lacking in nutrition.
"This lifestyle has caused physically harm to Mr. Williams," his lawyer said, adding that issues with his kidneys coupled with the environment in the jail have caused him to gain weight.
Whereas prosecutors brought up instances that they believed showed that Williams would intimidate witnesses. And ultimately, the judge decided to keep Willaims in jail.
The fight for his trial freedom in a Fulton County court on Friday morning, more than a year after he was first jailed in the RICO case that accuses him of leading the alleged "Young Slime Life" street gang.
That new motion for bond, first made back in April, was up for consideration in the day's court session at 9:30 a.m.

Lying like hell we all know that when they have money on their books they get to purchase different food than the jail offers he need to make the proper food choices nobody told him to sit and order chips and Debbie cakes also he gaining weight cuz he ain’t on drugs everyday all day. is he still prolly doing drugs in jail absolutely but it’s not as much as he had access to when he was on the streets. It amazes me how these criminals go to jail then start complaining about the conditions of said jail. Which leads me to my other point how the hell do you want someone to take charges for you and take the fall for you and endure the very conditions you complaining about when they ain’t did shyt or y’all did it together 🤣 THINK THINK I NEED THESE FOOLS TO THINK! Cuz if they did they wouldn’t even be in this situation to begin with. How you want someone to take charges for you when you don’t even want to take no charges so we already know that if the shoe was on the other foot they would be telling it too! This Old THUG just ain’t got nobody to tell on as he was the ring leader.

I was just wondering the other day how this case was going. Wild to think that the dude with the high voice and the dresses is leading up all this gang ish. Whatever tho. If I keeps me or someone I love from possibly getting shot or hurt as an innocent bystander, I say keep his a$$ in there.

American prison, is not like prison in Russia, NK, West Indies or Africa. So he can just sit tight and put a sock in it.

This is annoying. Tells you what they'll do for just a conviction, rather than actually care about what they are doing. Everybody that they let out... Wouldn't be surprised if they did more than the leader (if actually was a gang). Go figure!
