Over the weekend Love and Hip Hop Miami rapper Gunplay was arrested for pointing a gun at his wife, VonShaé, while she was holding their infant daughter [click here if you missed that].
I applaud her and hope Gunplay realizes his blessings before he really loses it all. People use drugs to self medicate. They are actually trying to feel better but the dissonance is just way too much. Most have the common sense to know drugs are bad. People reach for them to mask the pain of life / their condition / choices. This is just sad all around and there really is no room to hate or degrade. This is just sad.
I used to be attracted to Bozo’s like him. They are nothing but spoiled and decrepit people on the inside. We fall for them because we think they will protect us (black women) but they have so much inner rage from childhood trauma the nurturing a black woman gives is NEVER enough. The one time you disagree with them the brain clicks and they see you as an enemy no matter how much you try to clarify the disagreement. Their sense of loyalty is warped. She is doing the right thing. That dangerous mindset is not to be ignored.
This ain't the first time, he's mushed her before and she defended him. They both be drinkin n what not. She knew VERY well what this man was about but young'ns like to learn the hard way. Its all love and hip hop till a gucci flip flop flying passed you and your daughter heads. The folks tried to tell you he way too old and damaged for you.
SMH, I hope she get's a ghat and take shooting lessons, a black woman is killed every 3 minutes by a black man. Goddess be a ghat, I stay strapped spiritually and physically, yo ass run up, you get done up, and I don't do slaps on the wrist either.
