Erica Mena Calls Out Love and Hip Hop Producers

Earlier this month Erica Mena was fired from Love and Hip Hop Atlanta after calling her dark-skin co-star, Spice, a monkey [click here if you missed that].

Now Erica is calling out Love and Hip Hop producers after they held a round table on racism and colorism...

Erica showed up in the comments and called out the hypocritical producers for filming with her after the incident and not firing her until after the public backlash.

Erica also addressed the drama on her Instagram stories.

She does have a valid point about the round table "discussion". If this was really about making change and having an uncomfortable conversation concerning truth bout colorism, racism, etc.on the show, why wasn't she apart of the conversation? Since the whole reason this is even happening is because of something that involved her.

Girl wake up! Just like in any job, when they get tired of you they'll come up with anything or allow you to dig yourself a hole to fall into. It's over!

“Depicted us as zoo animals” Tell us how THEY did that Erica. Are you saying they forced certain behaviors? If so how did they do that?

I’m side eyeing Mona B. Scott and the directors of this fake show. The reactions are just as fake as anything else. Erica showed what they wanted and that was a circus act! I don’t think people are understanding that this was aired 7 months ago and they ALL knew what the public’s reaction would be to that. Mona B. Scott posted a response to viewers saying ‘It’s done. Erica Mena is no longer with Love & Hip Hop’ or something to that effect.
I’m a dark skin woman and I don’t like being played by another black woman running this BS!

MONA is the problem! And the problem needs to be solved by addressing the root of it which is her.
Y’all keep being clueless if you want to!
Erica had to learn a lesson the hard way but her actions, same as fake Yandy is still wrong!

Hopefully in time she'll get back to working. It's no excuse but, Erica deserves another chance. Everyone knows how she is from day one she's very emotional and Spice pushed her buttons bringing up her son in a negative way. Spice spirit seems evil she want everybody mad at Erica. Also since day one of this show every cast member has said something out of line before Erica ain't the first

The show in it's entirety is a negative reflection on black culture. From it's start until now, Mona Scott has exploited these people until they're so dependent on that check that they will do anything on camera. The show has a lot of nerve getting politically correct and holy than thou now

I agree they was fine with all of this until the public outrage!! If they were so concerned about this they would have stopped filming soon as it happened never aired the scene but said during filming things got heated and because of that they won’t air that scene out of respect for spice and wins is no longer with them. But no they proceeded to keep filming and air this mess. And there would have been no discussion of folks has not carried on about this.

So let me get this straight, a so called reality show was NOT supposed to show reality??? Miss me with the “they should have edited it out- for why? To save face for this racist bitch? So we can keep giving her passes in the black community? Who the fk in the black community owes this C-U-Next-Tuesday a graceful edit or a second chance? Why are some of you so stupidly naive and why are some of you “second chancers” pushing this bitch on black folks when she got her own community. Please stop thinking black people OWE other races access to us- fk that.

Read between the lines. The show was created to show off the worst type of "hiphop" behavior. The goal is to fight and keep fighting to keep your name relevant. The more drama the better. How manty times have they said scandalous shit to each other? They all talks smack about each other and about each other's kids. Cancel this shit.
