Jason Derulo Accuser Speaks Out

Last week recording artist Jason Derulo was sued by his former artist, Emaza Gibson, who accused him of dropping her contract after she refused his advances [click here if you missed that].

Emaza tells her side of the story...

The aspiring singer who has accused R&B star Jason Derulo of derailing her career after she rejected his sexual advances has told DailyMail.com his denial of all her allegations has left her furious, 'traumatized' and stressed.
Emaza Gibson, 25, filed a lawsuit against the Whatcha Say singer in Los Angeles Wednesday – saying in the legal filing that he turned cold after she declined to spend time with him or drink alcohol, routinely berated her in front of production staff and, on one occasion, angrily charged at her in front of her mother Sandra, 47.
According to her attorney Ron Zambrano, that adds up to 'quid pro quo sexual assault' and has had a devastating impact on his client.
In an exclusive interview, Gibson – who also calls herself Emaza Dilan – told how she had been delighted when TikTok star Derulo, 34, approached her in August 2021 with the offer of a record deal as a solo artist – a joint venture between his imprint, Future History, and Atlantic Records.
The deal included a collaboration with Derulo as well as a single within four months and an album within six.
But she says things rapidly turned sour after she told him she would not do anything 'that goes against my morals' to pursue her music career and that the saga ended with him blanking her and her contract being terminated last September.
'I've been put through so much stress,' she said. 'I have to have therapy now. I don't like being around men.
Derulo has denied all Gibson's accusations, calling them 'false and hurtful'.
'I stand against all forms of harassment and I remain supportive of anybody following their dreams,' he said in a video released on his Instagram page.
'I've always strived to live my life in a positively impactful way, and that's why I sit here before you deeply offended, by these defamatory claims,' he added.
But in her interview, Gibson insisted the allegations in her lawsuit are true.
'I'm intimidated,' she said. 'I am traumatized. I've been stuck at a standstill. He's been able to go on The Voice and do all these things, do a tour and all this other stuff that was promised to me.
'Everything that I worked so hard for was taken from me, and for him to go online and say and deny everything…,' she added trailing off before the end of the sentence.
'I'm not expecting him to admit to anything. But you would think that maybe in his head, oh, maybe there's been a misinterpretation of something that he did or said.
'He's not even acknowledging that or having any accountability. There are so many women that have horror stories that are going through the same things I'm going through right now.
'It's just super scary to even speak up. But I've had enough and I'm tired. I'm tired. I have spent months just crying.'

Prolly some truth on both sides. He couldn’t actually get everything he claimed and he wanted some too. I bet every wannabe star feels like this at every step not working
