Jodie Turner-Smith knew it was time to call an end to her marriage to Joshua Jackson.
“She decided that she is done,” a source told PEOPLE of the 37-year-old actress, who filed for divorce from the Dawson’s Creek alum, 45, after more than three years of marriage.
"They are on very different paths in life," the source continued. "Jodie loves being a mom. She also loves working."
The insider also noted, "It turned into an unhealthy marriage that made her unhappy. They will co-parent their daughter. They want her to continue to thrive."

Those are questions you ask before going down the aisle. She was a simp for asking him for marriage. He must of called her out her name when they get into an argument.

This is something you discuss before marriage and her proposing to him didn’t make it better sounds like he wanted to have a family and kids and she be more of a at home wife and mom and she wants to work a lot and attend events that are work related and I believe there’s where the break down was but who don’t discuss that before hand? When you desperately want marriage so bad that you will propose to a man it says you are willing to ignore the differences that are important in regards to marriage

She looked like a man to me in some of her pics. Plus I hate to see people get married and then decided to leave. Marriage is til death do you part. Problem is they should date the person for awhile and then they can decide if their a match. Using marriage as dating is stupid and too many people do it.
The institution of marriage has been incompatible with American life for 50 some odd years now. The advent of social media has accelerated its demise. The grass will always look greener on the other side. Spouses don't want to look inward to learn how to make their own grass grow. Not lecturing; I'm divorced, too--while dating an ex-husband from 15 years ago.
