The Rock Addresses Maui Fund Backlash


Two months ago Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson and Oprah Winfrey launched a fund for the survivors of the Maui wildfires, and received backlash after asking for donations [click here if you missed that]. 

The Rock gives an update on the fund and addresses the backlash...

In a video shared on Instagram The Rock announces that the Maui surviors have recieved their first round of payouts. The Rock also acknowledged the backlash and promises to do better next time.
