In a sit down interview with retired NFL quarterback Cam Newton, Chrisean says she believes Tamar set her up to be embarrassed...
Chrisean tells Cam,
"I went somewhere I was invited, and then I was set up. I was supposed to perform. I had my DJ. [Tamar] brought me out but my mic wasn't working. This was my first expericence with like, trying to be embarrased. I thought it was set up purposely to make me feel less of myself."

So yeah CR, you were set up because why would anyone expect you to behave like you weren't raised by animals. As if you as a whole adult should take responsibility for your actions. I believe she was set-up too and I've noticed other people have now realized Tamar and her staff's stories aren't making any sense. This should be a lesson to Chrissean, to not trust anyone until you see how they move. Tamar's reputation is questionable.
Did she have a contract to perform?
There is no set up. How's hitting someone in the face a set up? You put hands on someone.
You should have left and sued later or chalk up as a bad industry experience. Hurting another person has nothing to do with you not performing.

Tamar, as unlikeable as she is, is easily the bigger star in this situation. If she needed “clout”, Toni is the person to get it from and she was there. I can only name 1-2 Tamar songs, but I can’t name not a single CR song, and I’m sure I’m not alone on that 🤷🏽♀️

5:03 there’s so many different people with buzz on the internet it’s crazy. CR is just one. If feeding off her buzz was a need why only have her at one show, and not even to perform? And why can’t she get buzz from Toni, Toni is known worldwide, CR is known on blogs…as you stated, the internet. For the type of audience Tamar would be playing to, it makes more sense to get attention from her sister, not a lesser internet star with no nameable songs.

Millions of people tune in to whatever it is she got going on--she sells out shows and she makes lots of money thru bookings. The love triangle with her and Blueface is practically breaking the internet, with them being the most googled on the internet. Just because our elder brains can't make sense of it doesn't make it any less of a reality. This girl, Chrisean Rock gave birth on live--not only did it garner several million views, it even overshadowed Rihanna and her pregnancy which is actually an insult. But hey, young people like what they like. It's not so far fetched that Tamar would set this girl up for clout. It worked didn't it---because now it's a trending topic and Tamar gets to feed of off it.
1:31 the main reason the world knows who Tamar is is because she’s Toni’s sister. Tamar and all her sisters have gained what little fame they have because Toni is their sister so she already HAS gained her clout from that. The songs, the tv shows…being Toni’s sister got her all that and her fame has sustained that whole family. CR may be the it person of right now, but young people aren’t the only group of people that pay for entertainment. Hell, many young people can barely afford entertainment, and they damn sure ain’t paying to see Tamar or any Braxton. They have a demographic and so do older people, which is more Tamar’s lane. The buck doesn’t start or stop with 21-25 yr olds. There’s $$ to be made with other audiences that don’t watch Zeus network.
How can someone set you up to be embarrassed, when you are an embarrassment? I can't see Tamar having to do this to CR, for what? Had CR not hit Tamar's back-up singer, nobody would have known she was at the show. CR is so pretty and talented, but she gets in her own way.
