Former Bad Boy President Sued for Assault

Last week Sean 'Diddy' Combs settled a $30 million lawsuit filed against him by his ex-girlfriend, Cassie Ventura, after accusing him of depraved acts of domestic violence [click here if you missed that]. 

Now the former president of Diddy's Bad Boy Records has also been slapped with a lawsuit...

In documents obtained by PEOPLE, a Jane Doe plaintiff has alleged that Harve Pierre, a longtime executive of Bad Boy Records, "used his position of authority" to "groom, exploit, and sexually assault her."

According to the anonymous assistant, “Pierre engaged in a year-long pattern of grooming plaintiff, leading to sexual harassment of plaintiff, and sexual assault."

The filing claims that Pierre sexually assaulted the plaintiff on "multiple occasions in New York City and other locations throughout the country" during 2016 and 2017. As a result, she claims she suffered "physical, psychological, and emotional injuries."

The plaintiff is asking for damages that "will fully and fairly compensate" her for the alleged injuries.

Alongside Pierre, Bad Boy Entertainment, Bad Boy Records and Combs Enterprises, LLC. have been named as co-defendants and have been accused of gender-motivated violence and negligence.

"Defendants failed to properly supervise Pierre, properly supervise Plaintiff, and protect Plaintiff from a known danger, and, thereby enabled Pierre’s sexual assaults of Plaintiff," the lawsuit alleges.

The plaintiff also claimed the defendants "knew or should have known that Pierre was not fit to be in a position of authority."

"We have recently become aware of a lawsuit filed in New York by a former employee . The allegations are from many years ago that were never brought to the attention of the company. Neither the plaintiff nor the executive is current employees of the company. We are now investigating the allegations, and our top priority is the safety and well-being of our employees," a Bad Boy Entertainment spokesperson said in a statement to PEOPLE.

The lawsuit was filed under the Adult Survivors Act, which is set to expire on Nov. 24, allowed a period of one year for people who are survivors of sexual assault in New York to seek justice even if the statute of limitations had passed.
