i went and looked this "cabaret" play/movie up on tubi just to see for myself. and ms. nicci know she need to. pack it up. this lawsuit is like the "ER" and "grey's anatomy" were the same show b/c they happened in hospitals.

i saw little to no similarities b/t her show and p valley. it honestly wasn't that memorable and i fell asleep.

but that shit had faith evans and fantasia playing devil vs angel and having sing offs. i guess she think b/c the club was owned by a gay man, that's enough to sue?

These reality shows opened my eyes to how awful some of the R&B ladies are. This woman, Kelly Price, Angie Stone and a few others I can't remember are truly awful people and it wasn't just editing that made them look bad.

Ms. Nikki may need to move on, if she makes it to trial~this Is gonna be one of those cases that will be hard to prove & all most impossible to win. Just 1 small difference, makes it not a case of an infringement.

@12:39 PM, Thanks for the review. I'll check it out for a little while.

She hasn't gone to trial because even Ray Charles could see she has no case. If they copied her show then why didn't her show get the views and numbers that P Valley received? It's because Nicci's movie sucks. Girl go sit down somewhere.

2:41, just because she doesn’t have the money to execute it on film doesn't mean her idea wasn't stolen. For example, Alice Walker wrote one the best books ever written, but she's no Steven Spielberg. So if she tried to translate her book herself it would most likely fail.

I watched as much of the movie as I could, but gave up mid way. The two stories are similar in important ways: People want to own (or take) a female strip club owned by a gay man because the club is on land that’s going to be converted to a casino.

She should be allowed to take her case to court. Iont know if she’ll win but I’d have a serious attitude if my stuff was copied like this.
