Yvonne Orji is still saving herself for marriage, but she has a warning for her future partner.
When Chelsea Handler asked the Insecure star about her commitment to remain a virgin during an appearance on her Dear Chelsea podcast, Orji, 39, confirmed she was sticking true to her word and waiting for the right person to come along.
"I am," she said as Handler, 48, responed, "Oh my God, I love this, this is the most original guest we've ever had on. And what are you, 39? Oh my God. That dam is going to break one day, baby."
"People were like, 'Oh Yvonne,’” Orji laughed, noting that her future husband will need to brace himself once she releases her inhibitions. “Pray for him, whoever he is, there's a lot of pent-up energy up in here with me."
Claiming that she’ll reach her “sexual peak when you start having sex,” Handler suggested she’ll “need a couple of men” to satisfy her desires.
"Yvonne went from being a virgin to polyamory," Orji said, bursting into laughter.

I understand the desire to wait for someone special, but No Ma'am. I was focused on my education and focused on finishing law school. After my last class of lawschool was over and i graduated, the next day me and my then boyfriend did the do. I was a few weeks shy of 26. I knew I was not going to be a 30 year old virgin because that can impact you mentally. I don't support hoe-dom, but I do think it is important for women to explore themselves sexually and learn from their relationships. She is a 39. She has put such an emphasis on sex that a lot of men might be scared to deal with her. I mean who wants the responsibility of popping a 39 year olds cherry. That's alot of responsibility. I hope she finds someone that loves and cherishes her. I also think she believes being a virgin is a flex, but at a certain age it looks like a red flag. I hope she finds real love.

She's a Christian who practices what the good book says. I'm not even religious but I respect her for keeping her faith--unlike most of the holier-than-thou's in this world.
Nobody needs to know she's a virgin just like nobody needs to know if she's loose with the caboose. She believe she thinks it's a flex and will garner positive male attention but it probably won't. What experienced man her age wants an inexperienced woman, much less a virgin? Lolo Jones is in the same boat and we see how her luck's running. Yvonne better hope she runs across a 10 years celibate guy or a 40 y.o. virgin at church.
If she TRULY is a virgin good for her! But when people are TRULY living their best life they have NO DESIRE to tell other people let alone the world about some so personal and sacred. Her actions don’t match what is pleasing to what God likes. God wants us to be humble. How you gonna be humble but you talking about your “virginity”. You’re inviting every sexual demon into your presence! Why?!!!
