We won tickets to see AB in 2019, she sounded fine and seemed appreciative of us fans. I also interviewed her in 2004, very cordial and kind. I hope Anita remembers that nasty battle for her masters and how much she needs fans instead of disrespecting them going forward.

the only person i have ever seen stop the show to address fans in the front row for behavior they disliked was kanye. take that as you will.
Wow, now i can see how bad social media is. I was there Friday night and it was not like that at all. This woman was awesome. Her voice, exactly the same, she just walks like she needs her knee or hip fixed. She had so much love for her audience and her crew. So much, that she was talking and saying thank you to everybody, way too much instead of singing. She was not rude to anybody and wanted to talk, send thank yous, and sing all dam night!
Her behavior over the years has been totally diva-narcissistic-entitled. I have seen a couple of concerts when she was opening and was always late and rude. Once Ms. Baker ran almost a hour late on Boney James....a few years ago. SMH!
Ran into her in BJ Market 2019 Detroit, mind you she was walked up next to me shoulder to shoulder in the meat aisle, didn't recognize her at first then she humming "sweet love" verse to me when I looked up at her and told her I was a fan quietly she looked like an angry chihuahua an angry one and told me " SHUT UP" I laughed cause "shut up" means good things she rolled her eyes and took my steak I had in my hand. I was was like she really meant "STFU" she is so angry ....Walter come back cause she a mess since the divorce
So basically she started humming tjose lyrics a s to low-key say "do you know who i am" and when ypu acknowledged her she told you yo STFU, then took ya meat?! I ain't gone lie, i laughed pretty hard at that, but damn man, that was some weird unnecessary sh** right there!
Anita has a phenomenal voice and she's a special lady. I've interviewed her before and a lot of what you hear about her is her reaction to the jealousy, hate and sexism she had to put up with at the start of her career. She opened for Luther on a long tour once and wasn't allowed to speak to him except through his people. She was not allowed to make eye contact with him. Reacting to that kind of stuff will make you look like you have a bad attitude. Everybody in Vegas who worked with her loved her.
Why is she so mean? Didn't the Tyler Perry girl from his movie say the same thing, when her mom said hello to her. I ain't gonna lie she tell me to beat it ,I will.
My mom can't stand this heffa. She cursed her out a few months ago when she appeared on TV singing the national anthem. All I could do was laugh because I'm not gone lie she did sound horrible lol. We went to YouTube to watch Whitney and Marvin show us how it's really done!
