AirBnB are not for black people this type of situation happens all the time, you just don't hear about it because they are not famous.

The air had a no-party statute you violated.

Next time rent privately either a hotel ballroom or event space. You won't have to worry about racist, nosy, jealous neighbors

You couldn't pay me to use an Air BnB. Never have and never will. I always pay more and stay at a hotel when traveling.

No Air bnb for me. Too many cameras. And hotel has.more service.

I have never stayed in an ABB...I understand the concept, but I would feel so unsafe. However, I also understand why large groups would rent a large, nice home/mansion for different occasions.

People swear by air bnb but if I’m going on vacation, I’m not cooking or cleaning. Resorts and hotels will only do for me. I’m sorry that happened to her, but not surprised.

Everything not about racism. Although a lot is, this case isn't. Owners with Airbnb's are tired of people secretly renting out their houses for parties and then being left with damages that Airbnb refuses pay and mad neighbors.
Thats one reason why cities are banning Airbnb, the neighborhoods and the owners are over it.

If house rules were no parties she broke the rules and is mad at the owners for her disrespectful actions of breaking the rules??? Nope, they said we don't care who you are, star or no star, no parties rules mean NO PARTIES. That was on her contract that she signed BEFORE renting that property so she was well aware and KNEW IN ADVANCE to be NO PARTIES. That's not racism, That was a "F" around and find out situation. She should have rented a place that allowed parties simple as that.💯

All that word salad she typed sounding like TI out if jail, only translates to she threw a party when she wasn't supposed to and us stunned that they put her out for it.

Fantasia, did the host authorize parties or not? Damn the dissertation, racism - and every other detail mentioned - did the host specifically say you were ok to throw a birthday PARTY for your son and his friends? Because, in the end, that's what all this nonsense comes down to: were you authorized to throw a party? So, since Fanny couldn't address that little detail, I'm thinking that the host either didn't approve of it, or, Fanny tried to skate under the guise of a "get together", when it really was a birthday party celebration.

Now, I'm not negating the fact that racism could've played a part in her being thrown out at midnight, but, let's be for real, when have you ever seen a group of 6 y/o boys "quietly" playing videogames and telling scary stories? Young kids - especially black boys - are usually screaming, yelling, jumping around and are very animated in their behavior - which, there's nothing wrong with that - but if you're used to that type of behavior, you won't necessarily find fault with it. But, in these high income yt residential areas, they aren't used to "project behavior" and the kids were probably loud ASF. However, that doesn't justify kicking Fanny and her kids out at midnight; at the very least, they should've given them until 6am and then reported the said behavior to the Air B&B corporate.

I, personally, hate Air B&Bs. I don't understand the purpose of them if you can't host parties. Like, wtf I look like paying thousands of dollars for 1-3 nights just to stay in one room of a cot dayum mansion, with limited guests and no parties, while the neighbors micromanage and clock my every movement simply bc I'm blk? Also, Fanny has way too much money and access to be utilizing Air B&Bs; she could've asked Oprah if she could host a party at one of her properties; she could've asked Simon Cowell - any of her rich friends to rent or borrow their space for a night smdh. To me, this is a classic case of not understanding your wealth and value, while continuing to move like a 9 to 5er. If Fanny had just embraced the star that she is, she would've known better and not entertained some racist Air B&B for her son's celebration

As an AirBnB host the no party clause is real and it should be upheld. I'm black and I kicked 26 people out at 3am cause of a "get together" @3am they not driving home 8 or 80 these were 50 year olds and I had damage throughout the house.

I am black and I have kicked people out as well at 2 and 3 in the morning for partying when it clearly states no parties in their contract. If you wake enough to party, you awake enough to get up out my property.

I don't even use Airbnb anymore because of people like this. They act like they looking for a spot for a nice vacation when in fact all they really want to do is party every night and act like they balling. And Airbnb gives zero help or reimbursement for all that was damaged saying file it on my insurance. WHAT???? Nah, im good on Airbnb. She knew the rules, it's in the contract. She tried to be slick and put them in as house guests, when in fact it was a party she was planning all along. All the kids were probably loud and excited (as kids should be at that age) and add music to it, and the neighbors were like i think thee hell not. Thats why owners put up cameras, weve been done so wrong we gotta have proof. The owner as you can see by her being put out, had no idea about the party. But she knew, its clearly printed in the contract before they even pay, No party means no party. 🎯

"... she could've asked Oprah if she could host a party at one of her properties; she could've asked Simon Cowell ..."

Not Simon but Oprah for sure. That's how I know all these hugs and kisses and tears of joy these celebs be passing out on TV are fake AF. That whole 'we're a family BS to promote a movie is just that -- BS. Fanny just did a nationwide tour with her billionaire bestie but I bet you dollars to donuts can't none of Fanny's family step foot on Oprah's property if it don't include the paps or their PR people.

Simon helped Fanny when she was bankrupt and had no place to live. Simon brought her a home and helped her get back on her feet. Plus, Simon is known for his generosity; allegedly, after every romantic breakup, he would buy his ex a home. I think Fanny stood a better chance of getting help -on a location for her son's birthday party - from him, as opposed to Oprah. But the way that Fanny worded it in her IG post, it comes across like the PR blitz for the movie caused her to miss her son's birthday - you'd think Oprah would take it up on herself to offer a property for the party. Like, yeah, use my Hawaii compound for his birthday!

NO PARTIES. NO EVENTS. PERIOD. This isn't a racial thing. It's a "You didn't follow the rules" thing.

Whatever everyone know air b and b has a NO PARTY RULE PERIOD!! It’s a rule that even the owner can’t supersede how does she know that the person who owns the house didn’t own the ballon weight? It’s their house some ppl still live in their homes when it’s not rented out! I’m getting about tired of black celebrities, anytime something doesn’t go their way they want to use the racism card now when real issues and racism was happening for the world to see they were required. They would not speak up now anytime they don’t get their weighing something they wanna lie and say it’s racism. Annie and everybody knows you cannot have parties in the Airbnb home. It doesn’t matter where the home is. It doesn’t matter what an amenities the home have you can have company but you cannot have a party. This is just so annoying at this point, and IAnnie and everybody knows you cannot have parties in the Airbnb home. It doesn’t matter where the home is. It doesn’t matter what a amenities the home have you can have company but you cannot have a party. This is just so annoying at this point, and I like Fantasia, but this was the wrong thing honey you should’ve just packed your little stuff up and left it alone This is the main reason why Airbnb is changing their rules now and it’s gonna make it harder for people to even get a second source of income by putting their homes on Airbnb because people wanted to keep violating policies just like Tyrese and set up and then may alterations to this one ladies Airbnb property he boarded up doors and stuff at this ladies home. It’s a known rule you can not have a party! These neighbors do not want ppl who are renting out their homes guests to disturb their peace. Why you ain’t have the party at your home? Your home is big with all the amenities as well.

Love Fanny but let's not forget... she has literacy issues. Yes, I heard about her being admitted to college and the D9. This doesn't mean that she can comprehend legal documents. Many people who enjoy reading don't always read or understand the fine print. With her connections, I wonder why she didn't rent a hotel space. Hope this new movie will catapult her career.

@11:50 the only problem is the Airbnb host would have gone over the rules with her while giving her the keys and doing a walk thru. So she really has no excuse. She just got caught trying to throw a party when the owners and the contract said no. And to top it off she could read and write well enough to write that entire dissertation she wrote. So yeah..she knew , she just thought she wouldn’t get caught and if she did she was hoping to play on the home owners heart strings with “its a children’s party”. Nope, the owner said “Pack it up, no parties mean NO PARTIES , you and coco melon and Batman can pack it right on up.”

I understood every word so I know Fanny ain't write all that! LMAO!
