That hat was way too gimmicky for too long. He’s still wonky looking.
They wouldn't let him sing the anthem unless he removed his hat. Someone should have told him not to put his hand in his pocket while singing the anthem. At least he didn't sing out of tune. There is that.
That song, other songs similar and Pledge of Aligence means nothing to ppl of color.

The flag does mean something to some because lack people. My granddad was in the Vietnam war. Supported Black Panthers, he supports Kaepernick and he loves his flag. Loving the flag has something to do with him going to another country to fight. He says he would always stand up for the Anthem but he would fight for Kaepernick’s right to protest. I don’t fully understand it and he gets frustrated if we ask too many questions, but he is here for the flag, the anthem, and black people who protest.
