Doja Cat's allegedly being physically and verbally abused by her big brother ... at least that's what their mother is telling a judge.
According to new legal docs, obtained by TMZ Hip Hop, Doja's mom, Deborah Elizabeth Sawyer, filed for a temporary restraining order against her 30-year-old son, Raman Dalithando Dlamini ... and in her filing, she makes some serious accusations.
Doja's mom lists Doja as another person who needs protection from Raman ... reason being, mama claims Doja's had her teeth knocked out by Raman.
That's not all ... Doja's mom also alleges Raman's given Doja cuts and bruises, and destroyed and stolen some of Doja's property.
In the docs, Doja's mother claims Raman is also verbally abusive toward his famous sister "in a very degrading and demeaning manor [sic]” ... and she says Raman has made Doja feel "unsafe and traumatized."
As for her own safety, Doja's mom alleges Raman physically abused her and threatened her multiple times over the past year, claiming the most recent incident happened earlier this month.
The judge granted Doja's mom court-ordered protection from Raman pending a hearing for a permanent restraining order, but did not grant that same protection for Doja Cat -- instead, saying the artist would need to file her own request for a restraining order.
It's worth noting ... Doja's mom says she had a restraining order against her son in the past, but it's since expired.

What led up to the violence? Does she treat her brother any better than she treats her fans? Who threw the first blow? No, I'm not promoting violence, but I understand when it comes to Doja Cat.

I stumbled upon a TT of a woman who had to black and keep her brother out of her life…and the comment section was full of women commending her efforts while also sharing their own horror stories about their brothers! My mouth was on the floor. So I hope Doja handles her business and protect herself.
I grew up in a girl family. My grandparents had all girls, same for my parents and aunts, so I was not ready to hear all that these women endured at the hands of their brothers! And I mean the likes for the video was almost a hundred thousand, and same for the comments. Smh
I'm super confused. Do they all live in the same house? Can they hire a bodyguard? Is he waiting outside stalking them? I believe it's possible but there's some crazy missing details cuz this man is grown.

This is horrible. Btw isn't Doja Cat an adult? If so why is her mother filing for protection on her behalf?
So sad. He has a real problem, regardless of the source. Doja Cat herself has mental issues not having a father, and maybe they have the same father, maybe they don’t. But this family likely had real dysfunction, and it sucks for anyone to be going through this, especially a mother having to protect herself from her son.

Domestic violence is nothing to joke about. Some of y'all have no shame. Pathetic.
Although I don't care for this person, I would never wish this kind of violence on anyone. I hope the mother realizes how dangerous the brother is, it's going to take a lot more than a restraining order, he sounds like the type to murder his family. He needs to be in jail and mom might need to get a gun for protection. SMH.
Crazy smdh. Growing up I had a combination of 10 uncles and 4 brothers who very protective of me. I can't even imagine living with a violent predator smdh. But I know one thing, blood or not - fam or not - what you're not gonna do is put your hands on me. The first time he acted out would've been the last. Cause the way I would have beat his head with a frying pan would've had me on the evening news. Smdh
