Former NBA star Dwight Howard will continue to play basketball abroad, specifically in Asia, but in a new country.
Howard is signing with a Philippines-based team that is competing in the two-week Dubai International Basketball Championship tournament.
He will play with the 'Strong Group' team in Dubai on a deal that runs through the entire tournament from January 19 to January 28.
Howard's deal came after a season of personal success in Taiwan while also dealing with legal issues back in his native Atlanta.
Back in October, Howard denied accusations of sexual assault and battery from an incident back in July of 2021.
