John David Washington Considered for Jonathan Majors Replacement

Last year actor Johnathan Majors was dropped by Marvel Studios just days after his conviction for reckless assault [click here if you missed that].

Now Denzel Washington's son, John David Washington, is being considered for Majors' former role...

Jonathan standing in a corner looking at his career go south and mumbling in his best Urkel voice "Did I do that?". John David will do a great job.

Nah, Washington might be a Nepo baby, but he'll will not do the Multi-Universe any justice. He just doesn't have the acting skills. Don't care who yo daddy is

John David is quite the character actor like Jeffrey Wright is a character actor. They’re in their own pleasant worlds. JD’s movies are weird high intellectual movies, not really blockbuster/mIchaelBJordan types or blk/MorrisChestnut types. I’m sure he can fit the role bc he can act and fall in where he wants to, but I wonder if JD wants roles like this. He stays out of the limelight and getting in blockbusters means he’ll be getting noticed

I liked John's acting in Ballers and that crazy Klan movie by Spike Lee, but I hate he's a Nepo baby and I wish he had changed his last name like Nicolas Cage did.

I also hate that a good actor, Jonathan, has lost out on some good roles, but at least this role might go to John who should be able to pull it off.

He dates white girls too.

John David tries too hard to act like his father. Why does Hollywood always select nepo babies instead of casting actual actors who studied their craft? Jonathan is such a an idiot smdh. Had his simple @$$ just stuck to blk women this wouldn't even be an issue. And John David loves him some yt women, too, that's why he's being considered. Notice, Hollywood selects black men who have an affinity for same sex partners or yt ones. That's why Michael B Jordan is still in demand, and it's why John David will, too.

^^^^Unless you got your info from an inside track with the studio executives, your "theory" on how Hollywood selects Black men is just stupid. Michael B. Jordan is still in demand because he began creating and producing his own projects early on. And unless your partner is famous enough to bring their own publicity to a project, nobody who's hiring cares what race an actor is dating or married to. You just made that up out of your head.

That's where you're wrong, my friend. Only the gay and interracial couple actors are primarily selected for roles. Unless you're nonblack and straight.

John David is an accomplished actor who takes his career very seriously. I hope he can do a great job but I'm not sure if can transform into the role of a super hero. I hate how people have labeled him as a nepo baby when he's done everything to separate himself from the title of Denzel's son. He's even eliminated his last name from his credits. Honestly, I hate the term nepo baby, which reeks of jealousy and envy. If your parents can prepare the way for an opportunity, then you should take it.

@12:05 Sam L. Jackson, Denzel, Idris, Chadwick, LaKeith, Boris Kodjoe, Jeffrey Wright, Courtney B. Vance etc etc all prove your theory wrong.

@9:51 - Agree

Bring Jonathan back. He's the only one who can do it justice.

Why not use Aldis Hodge, Robert Ri’chard, Lance Gross and others? There are a lot of good Black actors who aren’t Nepo babies. I like Washington but he’s not the only or even the best to take over roles like this one.

@5:40,

Aldis Hodge cannot act! The last thing I saw him in was "The Invisible Man", and it was then I realised his skills haven't improved since he was cast as the original Derwin Davis in The Game's pilot episode.
