Beyoncé Announces Act II with Super Bowl Halftime Commercial
Two years ago Beyoncé announced her next music project would be a trilogy, with House music magnum opus, "Renaissance,' serving as Act I [click here if you missed that].
Looks like Act II will be Country music...
Beyoncé broke the news in a commercial with Verizon during the Super Bowl halftime ad run.

I’d rather watch that than Kelce play terribly, and his famous rat faced girlfriend be mentioned all evening as if she was on the field. We watched the game on spectrum, Nickelodeon and on the CBS app, and no matter the station. They just kept panning in on her. Smh
This trash won’t win Grammy Album of the Year EITHER. This was Usher’s night & her she goes. Tina Turner already put out a country album I’ll continue listening to that Masterpiece. It’s no coincidence Solange announced the other day her album was coming out soon & her this bit*h gotta steal the limelight. Why can’t BeYAWNce & her white wig, her camel & her goofy looking brats just disappear & NEVER come back??? Perhaps SOON
It’s so sad that haters rushes to leave their hateful opinions, thinking their criticism of Beyoncé will again leave salt on her will further will work to its advantage, but guess what it don’t . This may indeed get her that album of the year finally, so mostly because she should’ve have won 2 already, period. She’s taping into her country roots and sounds good
I was a little turned off by her being fake when Fantasia did her tribute to Tina Turner. Blue seemed somewhat awkward as not to join in the fun when the young lady in front of her was dancing. Beyoncé off beat clapping was weird. Fantasia earned her dues so just because she came by way of a ‘talent show’ doesn’t make her any less talented. Tina Turner would have loved it. I swear, the way the older generation of performers act towards the younger ones is why their clout is decreasing . Jay up there trying to spank the Board for not giving her album of the year. They need to stop. It’s a bad look.
Her commercial was genius PR for her upcoming album. And it did not upstage Usher’s performance, let alone take over the Super Bowl. Jermaine dressing like Boss Baby, Alicia’s voice cracking, and Luda taking a shot at Katt during his verse is trending more than Usher in his moment. Just admit y’all lowkey Beyoncé fans and carry on. Lol

Like all other popular music, country is also Black music. I'm not a huge stan/fan of hers, but appreciate any artist who steps out of their box to do other stuff. Now, let's wait and watch the country wytes go ape sh!t.

I liked the Superbowl commercial...I thought it was a really cute way of announcing her latest album drop. With that being said, I hope she doesn't end up with egg on her face when her country album doesn't break the Internet lol. Renaissance barely broke even and most ppl didn't like it. This country genre attempt is going to be much worse. Remember: both Jessica Simpson and Justin Timberlake tried use their blonde southern roots to transition to country from pop, and both of their attempts flopped.hard. The question is, will the country genre embrace Beyonce?

She always had that tongue tied sound in her voice that she could never get rid of. I think that is what keeps her from movie deals. But country music might her thing. Her dialect works for country. I guess Taylor Swift will be running back to her original fan base after ''B'' switches over. Get your prairie dresses back on Taylor and lay down those non fitting leggings and leotards. LOLO
