Tracey Ross got other fish to fry so it ain't gonna be Girlfriends.

People need to wait til the ink is dry before they start making announcements. Anybody can be in negotiations. Not being a "hater" just being realistic.

I agree with 9:45 AM, I don't want to hear anything more. Wait till a deal is signed and taping has started.

Without the brotha, it will not be worth watching.

Yes she definitely should wait but I’m excited. I think they’re on to something and I think Tracey is the one making it happen. I vaguely recall her talking about bringing it back, especially bc it didn’t go out right. So I bet it’s a stream movie or series and I would so be there

I'm sure I'm going to catch hell from all of you that watched this show faithfully. I didn't this or Living Single were that good. I'm happy for all that each actor/actress has achieved but the acting was subpar, in my opinion.

TER isn't a legend like her mother was when she turned 50. Her role in American Fiction was less than 20 minutes and everyone else out-acted her throughout the film. So that's to say parts don't land in her lap like some may think.

O/T - I have mixed feelings about this because those characters seemed more like frenemies than friends. Not sure how that would work as women entering their 50s. Maybe if the Toni Childs character would have a real come to Jesus moment or something but based on that last reboot of The Game, I'd think it through.

I was never a fan of Girlfriends. It always seemed like a low budget caricature of how black women acted with their girlfriends. I would've appreciated something more similar to a combination of Living Single & SATC; something with class, comedy, and real women living out authentic storylines.
