No one takes PETA seriously. They actually complained to a manufacturer of carousel rides about using animals on merry-go-rounds. They said it promotes a belief in children that it's ok to use animals for human pleasure. They're nuts.
I too am a person that really loves and appreciates all animals, however you can't claim to love animal so much but will at the same time be totally disrespectful to humans. It makes you look not as compassionate as you claim to be!
Leather, and suede are made from animal hide. Why haven't they gone after them too? Oh, that's too many ppl to run down. Or maybe they are wearing a pair. That includes some sneakers.
